Today is election day!
I don't care if its only for asst dogcatcher; express your self and use your power. All the shit we complain about would be moot if THE PEOPLE used their inherent power>
As ornery as I am i vote just to piss the man off ( also because i'm politically active - but you get the idea)
As for the charges against me, I am unconcerned. I am beyond their timid lying morality, and so I am beyond caring.

Great post! It's good to remind everyone how important it is for us to all get out there and vote!!! Had more people actually turned out to vote at the last election, things may have been different today.

Got in at 9:30 cause I went and voted FIRST thing this morning.
Can someone please tell me WHY the election committee in my town NEGLECTS to put up proper signage outside the polling site! [img]mad1.gif[/img] [img]AR15firing.gif[/img]

I always vote but the voice of the great comedian George Carlin lingers in the back of my mind as to why I shouldnt vote.
he says that everyone pushes you to vote since its your American duty and it gives u a right to complain about how the government is handled. When in fact even if you vote things still are f'ed up with these elected officials so instead on Election day he stays home and jerks off cause at least he'll ahve something as productive and he'll have something to show for it

There are some ballot issues in NYC which are of utmost importance, affecting future elections in this city. Unfortunately, though, I have a feeling that the turnout's gonna be low, nevertheless. [img]graemlins/jpshakehead.gif[/img]

Actually thanx for reminding me Mark, I just went online and got my voter registration form for Jersey, filled out and now will go mail it.
Cant make this one but I ****ing voting that damn asshole out in the Executive office and every Republican on the ballot.
