    M-Audio Monitors.

    Yeah Blackwax!

    I heard them in the guitar center when they first came out.
    They sound clean exspecially if you get the subwoofer.
    Very nice sound for the buck.

    good for tracking and final playback, i personally would'nt use them for mixdown.
    bottom line, speakers are instruments and you have to learn how to use them.
    critical monitoring takes time and close study...

    indeed it does but this is a good starting point as i am using regular cheap speakers at present and they are just not ctting it for any stage of the process.
    mixing and mastering is done in a studio still for now

    got them on Monday and have been in the lab every night since LOL

    They are pretty solid seem to have a good range and very clear at low level
    Only time will tell for sure but at present I am very happy

    So no need for the woofer ? I'm looking to get a pair myself to start up again making broken beat or maybe house , so I need that BASS!

    i havnt turned them up loud yet! LOL i dont think i have the need for the sub seem pretty good at refencing bass but im no expert

    hey cedric whats going on? u like m-audio monitors i use bx5a for studio my production, but i use some magna plana for play back ,real serious sounds , plus my dj rig has performance sounds speaker just to see if the mixes sound club worthy
