I created a thread about the whole ordeal and his sheeple had me for lunch for doing so. Now, barely three years after that situation that same ego has reared it's head towards his fans.
    were you on a boat?

    Peven doesn't do boats

In all seriousness - He's a decent showman and has some nice tracks

Outside of that, he's eminently forgettable - and, obviously, has just himself to blame

There's a reason why minor leaguers stay in the minor leagues (i reflect back to cats like Richie Adams and Loyd Daniels - so much talent, but in the end, the world spun despite them)
As for the charges against me, I am unconcerned. I am beyond their timid lying morality, and so I am beyond caring.

    Earned = past tense

Now that we're all painfully aware of how they feel about us, you can throw any past earning of respect out the window.

What am I going to spend my money on today?

Whose music am I going to play today?

Tell the truth, James Brown was old
'Til Eric and Rakim came out with "I Got Soul"
    Rap brings back old R&B

A serious miscalculation has been made by the Peven Everett management team as to the weight he can throw around even in this small backwater of the music community

    sheeeeeeet

as much as we malign tiesto, he only came on this board and smiled - then kept it moving

Some good discussions on here, but I think I am finally worn out on this topic. However I won't claim this is my last post on this thread, because those have become famous last words.

It was a totally benign thread, complimentry even, until they got here. Somebody saai, offhand, that they don't buy the CDs because they have received some blanks (they buy downloads and vinyl, instead).

Then the company comes back with tirades about edits, online mixes and how much they hate DJs and this board.

When somebody is telling me I need to check with them before altering something they did, playing it in a mix, wiping my ass with it, etc., I'm thinking maybe there are other less stressful or restrictive choices I can make.

Especially after I've already paid them and am not looking to profit from their work......JMJ

it's even pettier than that. they got their panties in a wad because they believe dj's who "profit" from their work shouldn't be complaining about anything.
