    So you are WRONNNNNNNNGGAH

BTW When I said he was Peven before dance music I was referring to when Peven was playing Jazz in New York at Carnegie Hall and doing documentaries and books with Wynton Marsalis
Ps I didn't come here to attack anybody I came here to stop the assault on my boss. Obviously you can dish it but take it...That's another story
You all started the smack talk you just didn't know someone was watching the foolishness.
Think before you speak because there might be someone else that would like to put out the other side to the story.
Well I guess you told me, Miss Damage Control

Now go create more ememies and animosity for your boss.

Jewell, not to change the subject but when is that one number comin' out where you sang something like, "...I'm gonna take my love back, gonna take my heart back..."? Or is it out?
"...wait a minute, hold up!...you mean I can get da dick without da ignorant mutherfucka attached!?...hell! I'll take two!!!"

Any of Peven's real fans would understand that this is hurting his career.
Anybody that is downloading a free mix isn't a customer anyway
No need for the music-stealing primer. I understand the issue.

The issue I was trying to raise is that you are alienating PAYING CUSTOMERS and fans of Peven's music with your approach right now. I know that I've been turned on to Peven's music by at least one of the people you've stepped to in this thread. And from this site, I've learned about, paid admission to and attended performances of Peven's, bought his music (singles from Traxsource and albums directly from the artist and The Silver Room) and in turn, turned other people on to his music and let them know where to go see him when he's in their area. I can't speak for anyone else, but you've certainly turned me off and have me questioning Peven's business acumen in having you speak for him here, in this manner.

In this social media day and age, there's really no need to resort to this. Now you seem to be backed into a defensive corner that can have no good end for your boss. It's unfortunate, because all of us want to see him succeed beyond imagination, and many of us put our money where our mouths are.

All another way of saying streets is watching, I suppose.

The best thing about this thread is the title:

Peven Everett Album - Party of the Year

It sure doesn't feel like the party of the year in here.

DO YOUR JOB that is to mix records together in a club and submit your playlist so the artist can collect their performance royalties. Not advertise yourself by giving away somebody's music.
How would you like it if I stole your mix and sold it with my name on it because I put my drops on it?
    You Getdafonkouttahere.
Im not adverse the second I mention that people are fraudulent and it's costing someone they get all offensive and come out with bogus disputes that have nothing to do with what I have said

Peven's fans shouldn't feel alienated they should feel like we are standing up for our company
Did I not say that Peven loves his supporters and is thankful to play for them?
It seems as though it's all a matter of what you want to make you business I have been more than respectful of people being disrespectful and if you feel bad or took to it personal don't I wasn't talking to you.
If you go back to the thread you can see how it started don't jump in late and judge. Im not judging you and I am apologetic that youare taking this so personal.
Peven was remixed by someone who made complaints about him so I busted his ass out simple. Why should he gig on Peven put his name on Peven's work and never speak to Peven. In Peven's own words THATS CRAZY
If you saw what goes on behind the scenes you would feel the same way.
So please except that I respect your feelings but I think if you had all of the info you would feel different.
Unified Records haven't paid Peven for his music on traxxsource so there you have it more info that probably sucks to hear but is the truth.

You couldn't be more wrong. I don't even see how it is possible for you not to see that you are alienating the very folks who help put Peven on the map. Folks have posted here that they have done edits and mashups of Peven's work. None of them have said they are selling it for profit nor giving it away. If anything it brings said artist to light and may even turn him on to a new fan base. I, personally, had no clue who Peven was until I heard some of his cuts in a few of the mixes posted on here. That prompted me to go out and purchase the vinyl.

Instead of saying thanks to those who, obviously, have a strong love and admiration of Peven, you choose to sh*t on them and throw accusations around about lawsuits. Puh-leeze. It's funny, too, because I recall when there was some fiasco about Pharrel stealing one of Peven's beats a lot of folks here were supportive and came to his defense.

You attitude in this matter is why House Music shall forever remain a niche genre.

As I said you can't go around offending people without someone saying anything.
This isn't general disrespect it's just a convo that was started by people saying a bunch of stuff that was addressed that's all
I wanted to make sure people knew PARTY OF THE YEAR was a comp and some people talked about defective product which I am still willing to fix.
Special hadn't even been out before it got edited that's not fair for you to take something that hasn't gotten it's day and alter it.
IT's not fair that Peven makes music all day everyday and before he has a chance to do with it what he wants someone else is.
That's all I have been saying

Contact him if he is interested he'll contact you back.
He's pretty busy but he will contact you back.

Peven sends his love once again to those who support and I do as well.

    Wow.

I'll say it again: Peven really should work with a trained communications professional whose job it is to grow his brand and customer/fan base.

    You are not that person.

I know I shouldn't let this get to me,but this broad is fucking accusing me of getting gigs, due to me editing some of his music???

Am I reading this right, cause I know this chick can't quote properly. If this is so,I also know how the courts operate and what slander and character assasination is.

I was actually booked to play an event featuring Peven.I'm really turned off by his friend BILLIE saying ill ass shit about me,when all I have done is support this cats work,by doing my job as a dj by playing it to people in the REAL WORLD.

So,from the bullshit assumptions, you just made about me,I won't play the gig.I'm cool...and I wiil make sure I tell the person who booked me,my reasons for not playing his event.

I get my gigs by busting my ass behind the decks and plain ol hustling.I don't need to use someone else's talents to get gigs and exposure.

    I'm fucking appalled by this....

Jamie, chill, love (because I was looking forward to this party!). Maybe a direct conversation with Peven is in order. Perhaps he's not aware that she's speaking like this on his behalf. The only way to know is to contact him, directly. Real business stuff. Not innanet tomfoolery.
