I wear my seatbelt 100% of the time (for the past 8 years). I used to never wear it though. When my nephews were in my car I would always tell them to put on their seatbelts. Of course they asked why I never wear mine. So I told them that if they will always wear theirs I would always wear mine. I've gotten militant about it. Anyone riding in my car has to wear theirs also.

Had a buddy of mine killed a few years back, thrown from his car in an accident and didn't have on a seatbelt, I try to wear it as much as I think about it, the Caddy don't remind me like my wife's truck do, but it is still no excuse.....

I'm better than I used to be, but not as regular as I need to be......

btw, we've been instructed to ticket, tow and jail for DUI's as well, zero tolerance thru the holdiays, pass it on......

Chuck is this for drivers only? Or will you get Driver for not having passenger under 18 w/o seat belt.

Been wearing mine hardcore for the last 15-20 years so I aint worried. I wish this would be enforced more often. With cities strapped for cash it would be a easy money maker not to mention more importantly saved lives.

I teach drivers ed and it appalls me the number of parents that pick up and drop off kids and the parent aint strapped and the kid jumps in and doesnt strap up either.

A few years ago I was coming home from a Frankie Thanksgiving party fell asleep and crashed.Broke 3 bones in my neck and was lucky to be alive. The doctor told me if I was wearing my seatbelt I would have walked away with bruises and thats all.I dont care if I am moving the car in the driveway the seatbelt goes on.

Check points are easy to spot...If you approach a line of cars, make sure you got the belt on and the cell phone on handsfree or bluetooth....its that simple..but just wear the belt, period.
