He's entitled to his opinion, and Cutler has yet to throw a pass here, so the jury is out......JMJ

anyone who thinks the Bears did not get the best of this trade is stupid.

Cutler has never had any melt down on the filed or off it.

He's also never won anything. Could be a good trade, but it's away too early to tell......JMJ

Dungy has forgotten more about football today then you will know in your entire life. Maybe you should STFU.

hey kaaos, i guess Mike Ditka needs to STFU as well:

    http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-...4549710.column

When asked about Jay Cutler last week, Tony Dungy said he wasn't completely sold on the maturity and leadership ability of the new Chicago Bears quarterback.

Mike Ditka read those comments. And he didn't flinch.

"I don't think anything about what Tony said is earth-shattering," Ditka said. "I think it's a fact. [Cutler] came here under uncertain circumstances. The way he got out of Denver was kind of strange. But the kid is a talent."

That's not to say the legendary former Bears coach has nagging doubts about Cutler, but he's certainly not ready to add him to the pantheon of Chicago greats. Ditka simply wants to wait and see.

"People ask me one question: Is he a good quarterback?" he said in a telephone interview this week. "Well, he's got a great arm. He had great receivers up in Denver, they had an offense that threw the football a lot, so it highlighted his strengths. If he's in an offense that doesn't highlight his strengths, what's his strength going to be? It's got to be leadership, like Tony said. And he's got to prove that."

If Cutler does prove it, Ditka will do something he spent his entire coaching career preaching against: He'll commit a turnover.

"If they win with Jay Cutler and go to the Super Bowl, he will own this city," he said. "He can have my key."

But it's just his opinion. And given that he is vastly more knowledgeable than most on football his opinion is at least an informed one. He is right the trade was a risk. All trades are. Given Cutler's history and limited accomplishments this one is risky.

Dawg, The Denver Broncos is or was the employer of Jay Cutler. Meaning he was an employee of the Denver Brancos. Denver will do what is best for Denver. Things like that happen all the time in sports and he melted down and handled it all the wrong way.

Sounds to me like you are being a douche fan boy who is thinking with his emotions and not with logic. Neither of those guys has a vested interest in Cutler's success or failure and when it comes to football know their shit. None of that can be said about you.

well many would say that only one super bowl for each coach is way to low considering the great teams they had they both should of had more.
