Thumbs up Femi Kuti & Τhe Positive force took me in a trance

It was their first time in Greece, the first time I saw them live.
It was my first time in a concert that I never stoped dancing for 2 hours, it was so simple but by the same time complicated, it was uplifting and deep, sexy and trance, it was a full experience. And when I heard the lyrics from day by day, with this unique passionate expression that only Femi has, I started crying, but it was an optimistic feeling.
There are so many things I want to say now about the motherland, the western world, the fights, the politicians. But I stand to Femi Kuti and his partners.
Africa must be very proud of them, Fela must be very proud of them and it's a hopeful sign for humanity that people still create, not only gadgets and rubbish, but art, that is speaking for the simpliest things that miss in our world: freedom, peace, equality, joy and love.
Thank you Femi, thank you Africa, we owe you.

I felt like that after seeing Tony Allen play. Would love to see Femi in concert.

Seau is the real deal. Femi is good but I feel Seau carries more of Fela's style. It's almost as if you are watching Fela himself.

Seun's lp was one of the best I heard at 2008 and his band is great.
Hope to see them live, too.
But I love Femi's voice & expression, I find it unique

Yeah he was in slow motion. His band isn't what it used to be because many of the good guys have left. He still has a few of his members from when he was in Miami in 2006 and that has greatly affected his sound. People from Nigeria were calling saying Femi was really sick end of last year and didn't know if this tour would take place. I'm glad he was at a venue that allowed children so I got to take my little boy.

Now Seun got DOWN when I went to see him at the HOB last year!

He was that bad at Ravinia. With Seun, you have to keep in mind he has his father's band so there should be some similarities in their styles.
