    Just joined a gym

So all this yammering about health care and preventative care etc (and my ever expanding gut thanks to those cuban sandwiches at the store) has motivated me to do something I've always found slightly odd, and I've joined a gym.

Joint is dope. Open 24x7 so I can go whenever, they have daycare so I can't use the kids as an excuse and the facility is brand new so it's reallllll nice.

I'm actually kinda amped about it and plan to force it into my daily routine. After thinking about my parents and their physical conditioning, my ever-deteriorating condition and the fact that preventive health care is by far the most cost effective and productive we (the whole family) signed up.

I need it, wifey wants it and hopefully in the end it will reinforce better living habits in my kids.

I'm like a kid with a new pair of Jordans, I'm so hyped to put em on and wear 'em out for the first time that I'm seriously contemplating going to the gym right now @ 12:12am, just because I can.

    Peace

I bet I lose so much weight I look like a former crackhead who's addicted to meth, Fen Phen and ex-lax before you are convinced Obama was born in the US.

any idea what the equation for pints of guiness to minutes on the treadmill would be?

I'm just sayin.... you have any idea how tempting a Cuban & an ice cold Guiness is when you don't have to actually take money out of your wallet to have them?

I think there’s something like 400 calories a pint but it will nourish an invalid in a coma?

    you can do this!!
As for the charges against me, I am unconcerned. I am beyond their timid lying morality, and so I am beyond caring.

yeah man.... it's $140 a month for the whole family, but damn.... we just got back from our first day at the gym. I packed the kids up and went over @ about 9:00am, and we just walked back in the door about 15 minutes ago.

Nicholas got to play with a bunch of other kids his age in a safe environment, Sithon got to go to the pool and hit the water slides and I rode the bike for 30 minutes, ran for 15 minutes (gotta start out slow, ain't tryin to catch a cramp tonight at the store hahahaha), hit the steam room for 10 minutes, then went out and swam for almost an hour. All in a very nice, almost spa like environment so it's welcoming and not just industrial or dirty feeling.

As for the eating habits, definitely gotta curb that and fight off the desire to crush a pack of peanut butter M & M's, but a few years back I dropped off about 45 lbs with nothing but a change in eating habits, unfortunately with such a crazy schedule and so many temptations I fell off a bit, but I should be able to do it again.

    Peace

Gym is a very good place where you can get you body fit.
I also have joined the gym and do the gym exercise daily at least 45 minutes.

I hit the Weights, arms, back, chest (incline, decline, Flat), shoulders. 10-20 minutes of cardio when I first hit the gym . Hour to Hour and half on the weights. 20 min on the abs. Been working for me.
