It has been said time heals all wounds
but I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone.

But if you take the old saying literally the quote holds very true. If you put everything in perspective from the grand scheme of things, the instance of time that you experience is always fleeting. Eventually your perception of pain once the brain no longer functions will most definitely be healed because it will be non-existent. Within that I can understand why people commit suicide. Death is a double edge sword. No more pain but no more life at least thats my best guess. Who knows dont take what I write serious or take it with as much value as you like but I like to think neuroscience may have it right that emotion is just neurons that fire in your head. That give you these "states" of being. Pain is on the list and inevitable for everyone. Just be careful not to get addicted to it. I've met so many women that always want to be victims its almost like they need to be whinny to be whole person. Really ridiculous... Hey if your into really trite advice, I always like to think it can always be worse.
