Thread: Only Standing Ovations For Alvin Ailey Dance Company At City Center In NYC

    Besides the usual classical and jazz music that is used, they featured some tracks that had a house beat. We truly carried on in that place last night. The music and dancers were on time w/ the beat. There was an excellent crowd . No time to run to the men's or ladie's room. if you did one had to wait for intermission to get back in the house.

    The dance company closed with the late Jazz Giant Dizzy Gillespie's Music.

    If you are a ballet or performing arts fan, you must catch this company.

    you know this guy had a good time. they don't take me out much because i don't know how to act.i lost my mind up in there, up in there.

    they are amazing. we go every year... but some how we've missed this year. :(

    The name of the piece is called "Grace" choreographer is Ron Brown from Evidence out of BKNY.

    guys you could probably get cheap tickets for $25.00 if you try and move down later.

    Been Going To The Center the last 3 years, but havent gotten ticket this year yet. :(
    If I'm late, it's because I'm still using windows 95. I Love 90's House!!
