    Fao Blackwax

    Hi man, i had this dj who listened to some of my productions lately, and he offered to play some of them during his sets.
    Now i'm quite annoyed as i don't know shit about mastering and i work on shitty speakers and headphones.
    I wonder if you'd be ready to gimme some help on that, i can even send you the .rns files if you want.

    To anyone else reading that, some top notch documentation online is welcome of course.

    Thumbs up

    well boss mastering is where the magic happens if your mix is good then mastering will make you go WOW but if your mix sucks then mastering will make you shoot your self in the foot.....I suggest you invest in some good speakers I like the behringer truths. I also like the sony 7506's for headphones. Some good software to start is Ozone 4 and t-racks but if you want the best... FRANKFORD WAYNE 130 W42nd st Nyc. at 250per hour they are the best.
    hit me up and i'll listen to your stuff

    Sorry for the late reply I have been out of the country

    I am no mastering expert I usually send my stuff away for that
    Although when I am testing my tracks out in clubs i do tend to do some mastering using izotope ozone (compression, limiting, eq etc etc)
    no need to send the rns files as i havnt used reason in a while
    If you want me to do something on it send me the wav files all as seperta parts
    even the drums i.e kick, snare , hats , chords etc etc
    let me know

    Best thing to do is re-wire all of your Reason tracks into software like Pro-tools and get an engineer to mix in a decent platform. Don't bounce down into stems as you'll loose some sound quality to quantization.
