What Soundcard should i buy?

i am working on G5 Powerbook. I also have a G5 Powermac. I want to buy a external soundcard. Any sugesstions?

but I've got a 30 % discount.

The RME Fireface 400 and 800 both work well and sound good. I'd get one of those or maybe a Motu.

Apparently the Onkyo SE-U55SX is regarded as the best external soundcard...with the keyword here being 'apparently'.

I currently use a Numark DI/O card as I'm a Disco DJ/Event DJ - and that is fine as a general use soundcard. What are you hoping to acheive from your Soundcard? Eg. Recording/DJ'ing/Games/etc.
