i too cannot see the point of involving yourself in this thread, unless of course you have info that directly connects with this topic. sorry but i don't see it with what you are posting.
And again, I have presented numerous references that state that Niggas(straight hair, curly hair, kinky hair) were already present on this side of the pond long before Columbus(and company) "discovered" America...from Mexico, to South America to California...Niggas were already here...they traveled from both the Atlantic and Pacific...basically...America IS Africa...always has and always will be...

If historians way back in the 1700's were well aware that there were links between the language of American "Indians" and African tribes...what does that say?

Was this a result of the slave trade?

I can also post some information showing how Indian tribes from the North East U.S.
( Narragansetts and Mohegans) were shipped to the West Indies as slaves...

Wouldn't these people be designated as "Negro" on the slave plantations of the West Indies??? A lot of the slave trade involved shipping "Indians" from South and Central America to the U.S. and vice versa...they became "negro" on the plantation...

Anyone taking spanish immediately recognizes the fact that each country and its regions speak a certain style and its strongly goes parallel with the racial makeup/mixture of the areas.

ie. ask any Puerto Rican what he/she would call the bottom fo the rice when serving food and they'll say: PEGAO (stuck) Dominicans call it "CON CON" (pronounced from the nasal region such as "kOOng kOOng")

th word "Con Con" is directly linked to some west african tribes to mean "food for the dogs"....
and in peru, it's concolon (accent on the last "o"). not only is linguistics a key to the ethnic/phenotypical/cultural make up of a region, but FOOD can give a lot of insight into the historical development of a country/region/people.

for instance, in peru, the cuisine is a mixture of african, japanese, chinese, and indigenous, and is considered it's "own" cuisine, complete with techniques, flavors, and dishes, just like french, italian, japanese, etc. (as compared to the generic "latin" offered in the US which is the chicken stew/rice & beans/plantains that is actually more related to a Caribbean Latin American aka PR/DR style of eating).

If we're talking linguistics, it's also interesting to see how words that enter the lexicon can be regional dialectical interpretations of another word, e.g. pegao is the typical island pronunciation dropping the "d" sound because the word is actually "pegado." (past tense, stuck)

gonna have to check out those links posted early in the thread, was just getting my chime on about what frankie said...

gotcha, in spite of the hostility, and quite frankly, fear it engenders, it can be very interesting to add to the body of knowledge, in any event, once you check chefron's links, let me know what you think.

on a somewhat related note, did you know that the guy who is probably most responsible for the america's space program was a nazi? werner von braum built rockets for hitler but was brought to america to help our missle development and our space program, he was crucial because the soviets were beating us, needless to say, jews were and are still outraged, because not only was von braun a nazi, he was in the dreaded SS. my point? you don't have to like the source of important information to recognize its value

All B/S aside - El Mayimbe starts giving some good From The Inside Out information about a subject, the thread gets intereresting + make for good reading then....it is thrown off into stupid NON First Hand babble.

    That is foul.

    LOL @ Escapade footage!

My paternal great-great grandfather was from Saltillo, Mexico and married a black female slave here in Texas. Here I am a product of that union all these years later.

Coastal populace seems to make the most sense, seeing as how from days of yore that's where we were brought to.

It makes sense there would be Afircan-Mexican American's in Tejas. Of course Texas is also the home of Tejano music = Texas + Mexican music.

How did Wernher von Braun get into this conversation? I'm actually a fan of Wernher von Braun. I don't see him as a bad person like Dr. Josef Mengele, The Angel Of Death. Wernher von Braun was more of an opportunist interested in rocketry and space exploration. Donald Rumsfeld knew Wernher von Braun believe it or not when he was a Congressman of Illinois.

I have a hard time believing American Indians were Black. Although South America and Egypt did have similar architecture didn't it?

Moor or less, don't buy into Alvins 173 photos of book pages of books he never read cover to cover.

Every page of every book he post are NOT of books he read then scaned to make a photo copy to post on DHP.

What he has done is as simple as finding a link, copy the pic to photo bucket and post it here...I give this as example.

I never read a page of the page of the aesop fable book above that I posted....
damn sure looks good though. That is what Alvin does all day everyday!

All Im saying is that mexico is one of the least Afro influenced latin countries. yes we do have afro blood in us but not as much as say cubans, puerto ricans, dominicas, colombians ect...

you dont see people who look like sammy sosa, carlos delgado, pedro martinez, big papi ect walking around.

mexican popular music is not as afro as much as it is euro like from poland (nortena) and german italian (banda)

ranchera sounds more euro to. all three styles are the most popular in Mexico.:

    .
    ..

    banda

compare BANDA to the opening scene of the godfather they sound exactly alike:

    ************************************************** ******
    Nortena

    sounds like polka to me

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Ranchera (the king of mexican music Vicente Fernandez)

most of the "scans" that I post...I also provide the link(when possible)...

its funny how most people accept the (half)fact that niggaz wallowed through life as "slaves" and were "imported" from some far away land but when presented with information that confirms that many of these same "niggaz" were already here in the Americas before Columbus, they get all screw faced and come up with some pretty wild conjecture to help them to keep from confronting their deeply rooted dogmatic beliefs...

you claim that I'm posting "a page" from a book that I haven't read...but it is still ONE PAGE MORE than many of the DHP "critics" have bothered to sift through...

    cmon son...cmon...
