there are a ton of good djs out there. true. but every dj is unique in their own way. like wrestlers have signature moves so do djs. you gotta listen for them. that signature move. trade secret. everybodys got one. just listen closely beer in hand..

I don't understand replies like this. And your point is?

I've played to at least hundreds of people, if not a thousand before, and my reply was genuine. Any recognition is worth something in my book, and I work hard for it. I don't care if it's Robbi's list, your list, or Santa Claus's list, if someone wants to say "hey, I dig what you're doing" then I'm grateful to the fact that someone actually LISTENED.

Do I detect hate in this statement? You sound extremly bitter.. Lola IS a very good Dj and her ear is on some other/deeper stuff compared to some of the other djs in NY.

Karizma I hear is a "killer" by all reports (how i keep missin this cat live ???)
the problem frm FAN stand point way too many clones and 1 dimensional sound in the NYC
the horsetrottin beat thing is still rampant here 3 hrs worth at some partys (no names mention/I's be done learnt)
& kudos to Mr Regisford is back on his "A" game in my own opinion very energetic renewed & solid (yes thats probabley both of us) havent danced like that to a Timmy set in yrs
