    Brian K aka Rufus.

Always been about music, but can say that I "got" House about 1992. Been House ever since (although I do creep with other music from time to time).

When I found out that my mom's Disco records were the original source for all that I was loving and living now, THAT was the moment.

Favorite cut for that feeling is Abstract Truth's "We Had a Thing". Never fails to cure all sadness.

Well, I guess I will go next.

My name isn't m*thf&ckah but I do know quite a few of them. You can continue to refer to me as panklady. I used to be in my mid-30s but my last birthday pushed me over the fence. A Leo, introvert who happens to be single...with no children & no desires to have any. I'm taller than the average female but see eye-to-eye with the average man. I was really introduced to this thing called HOUSE back in 2002 when it literally saved my life. Thank you, DJ Karizma & DJ D-Low for those nights at the Sky Lounge nursing me back to health. Truly it's seen me into a new way of being & thinking.

Thank you, House...and the community who it connected me with.
Dance as if nobody's watching you...and if they are...so what?

My name is ProvocativeElement - folx call me P.E.

been into music since I could pull myself up on the corner of a piece of furniture and do that little baby bounce. Used to play records for family gatherings (on the phonograph with the automatic arm)

I'm a baby to this really. First song I remember speaking to me I heard on WHPK in the 80's (Planet Rock) - all I could remember was 'Ich Me Sun Sheik'
then of course, I had my bouts of recording BMX mixes on the tape deck Pink house and WKKC and the like. I was an only child, sheltered growing up, but my family kinda let me loose when I was about 16, 17 in the early 90's and I started partying. Too young to really get into any clubs, me and my girl used to carry records for Rush and Craig ("um, yeah, we're with the DJ . . .") Respectively, this was the tail end of the comet, but I'm still covered in the cosmic dust that draws all of us to still pursue the dance floor culture. I'm a house head -Stone To The Bone. Underground For Life.

"Uh my name is Richard and I am an addict"

    Oh shit wrong forum..

I can't remember NOT having music in the House...From Rufus Thomas to Aretha Franklin to Jimi Hendrix and The Jackson 5..My Mother has more records than me..I think I've always been House but just didn't have a name for it..Then, one day Gayland took me to Rialto..Then Bob Lemons took me to The PowerPlant..Then I went to The Muzic Box....I'm surprised that I have ONE brain cell left..

My name is Beverly aka Likewater & Chocolate to some

I've been into the music world for over 40 yrs never called it House.. been doing parties since my Mothers time.. she was the hostest of all of our family dinners.. We had all the records.. My moms was a music conasour and she had everything.. so I was raised up in it..My mother was a great dancer.. she taught me and my sister every dance move and attitude for each song.. how to give character to a song.. expression.. every Friday after work she would buy 45's R&B music time passes and 12inch records came out, I got married at 20yrs old.. to a singer/basketball player.. we had 3kids.. and grew up with each other .. We were the dancing couple, We would give parties at our house, have our equippment stored in the pantry, our house was a HOUSE party once a month, Then something Happened.. we got invited to a party in NYC at this place called The Paradise Garage and that was it, people called it Underground Music, but I called it Love Music.. My favorite song is THe Music GOt Me By Visual..& Help Is On The Way by The What Nots.. I love HOUSE, I'M AM HOUSE, I hang with HOUSE, I WILL always be HOUSE..

    Thumbs up House ID.

Greetings My name is Ras.Anthony Wiggins.

My Life in House started in the 80's when i was in High School going to Nels on a Wednesday night with my dear friends, Bryan Hannibal and Tamir Clark aka Basecore Boy. I Thought i was House until i met this experience.

Going to places like Club 88 in New Jersey, Cosmos and Sensations, was the scene, until these two gentlemen showed me the light. After that i bought my first single called,"Like this".

From that moment i became a promoter for the Legendary Zanzibar and was offered a job for my great work. Through that I met Adeva, to her credit came the remake to Aretha Franklin's Respect. Traveled the world on her Love or Lust tour, working with House artist to the likes of Crystal Waters, Kenny Bobien, C&C Music Factory (RIP) David Cole, Kimara Lovelace, and the whole Jersey sound. Cassio Ware, Intence, Jommanda and many more.

Now I am a House artist myself with cuts like Sweet Spirit,Wave Records, Bang thee Drumz, Metro Tracks, DJ.Romain, and my present release as a CIMA Recording Artist In the Mood.

I'm happy to say that House has taken me to various places and the Big Screen MTV The Grind, and all the workout videos....... House has been good to me.

In a nut shell I AM House.......Much Respect.

    Hello House heads am House

Before i tell you all why i only listen to house music, let me start out by saying from my grammar school days back in 1982 i always played my music. on my little radio. recording and listening faithfully. the sounds of Teddy Pendergrass,Lou Rawls,Stevie Wonder,James Brown,Chic,Donna Summer, and K.C and the sunshine Band. And in 1984 i became a Freshman in High School, attending Westinghouse Home of the Warriors-House heads 4 Life. and when i went to that first party at westinghouse I Housed it up with all of the other people in attendance. From 7 pm-around 11pm i danced all night to the House Music. which was been played all night,i sweat like crazy that night, all in all a good night.I can remember too good the first time i attended The WareHouse,Divinci Manor,Sauers,Resurrection Hall,Bismarck,Wearing My Jeans with a Turtle Neck with a Suede or Corduroy Jacket. Now as i was saying when i listen to what i know is the best music, always refreshing each and every time am listening. My Mom Loves house music, and also my Daughter know all of the words to just about the majority of the disco tunes when she hears them. She also told me specifically that she loves the music, just like her Dada. Whenever i hear the music it makes me dance always feel good to know that this is Good a-s Music! Nonthing will take the place of my music.
I Salute All who Enjoys this music as much as i do

Les Calloway has been a Mixologist since the ripe age of 11 years old. At 12, he had the pleasure of working in a club as a Bar-Boy assisting the bartenders and helping in any way needed (Mom was the Manager and weekends only). One Night while working the light system, the DJ AJ Savage asked him to take over the set while he was gone. He returned an hour or so later and the floor was still packed. At that point he knew he would stay in the life of music. Training under the influence of the best of the best, he has been able to pioneer his own following with a unique style all his own. INFLUENCES - Larry Levan, Timmy Regisford, David Camacho, Tony Humphries, Tee Scott, Richie Kazar, Danny Krivit, Movin Records own Abigail Adams, Larry Patterson, Merlin "on the job" Bob, David Mancuso, Nicky Siano, Little Louie Vega, Jelly Bean Benitez, Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy, Matt Myers, Hippie Torrales (This Man along with Butchie kept the kid off the mean streets of Newark and in a place of safe haven "Docks"), AJ Savage, Naeem Johnson, Mark IV Productions and countless others. By the age of 15, He started attending many Club Venues: Paradise Garage, Butter Milk Bottom, Better Days, Studio 54, Area, The Red Zone, Bonds International, Zanzibar, Shaniques, Docks, The Executive Suite, Club 88, Peppermint Lounge, Paradisios, Sultan 2001, El Castile,Charades, Justines, the Bowling Alley, the Roxy, let us never forget The Shelter home of Timmy "The Maestro" Regisford, The Down Under and many more Many Thanks to Abigail Adams and KB for being Big Sister and Brother to a kid who could have gone the wrong way but with their protection and guidance found Love in the land of Music. "NEVER FORGOTTEN"
    ....................

I have been mixing for 35 years and a recovering music addict.

I grew up house...I live house...I will die house.....
