Can't remember the title of one of my records. Maybe you cats will know.

I heard it in an AK set a long time ago and bought it.............

It was a disco sample with minimal filtering, with a mash-up or someone singing, "The first time ever I saw your face."

Do you cats know this track? Can't remember for the life of me.

With that love, sampling can become a tribute; An expansion on ideas long forgotten, reconstruction, collage. Using the same understanding openly and respectfully can turn DJing into a spiritual participation. It can turn a few hours of selection into essential history; Necessary listening through movement."

The original song is, "First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" by Roberta Flack. I believe the house version was a boot of sorts, but I don't recall where I picked up the track.

Hey thank you for spinning the cut in the first place.
