I have to say that I really loved Sinatra's 3-D Disney ride/movie at Epcot Center. That must have been seen be 100 million people, conservatively. Oh wait, that was MJ.

Sinatra's cool and all, but he didn't change any games.

He defines that era and is the first name out of most people's mouths when asked who was the greatest - if he didn't change it, he certainly took it to another level.....JMJ

Certainly one of them, the world would say. I was trying to make a point...that it doesn't make him the greatest entertainer.

Yuri Nikulin. The man was a professional clown......and a superb comedic actor.

Hey, if people are mentioning figures who are barely known internationally (Sinatra, Pryor)....I can add my own, which is not known internationally.....

dunno about all time, but in my time the greatest musical entertainer has been prince rogers nelson - sings, dances, writes, plays - all brilliantly (acts too, but not the best there i'll admit)

while sinatra defined and era i always found his voice to be a little off key , his delivery in phrasing is fantastic in looking at his old movies he always looked sickly to me especially when he was the skinny balladere ..

i personally liked sammy davis junior even thou he died broke .. actor singer and dancer considered a triple threat.

and at one time considered one of the great entertainers ......

I WILL give kudos to Prince. Amazing talent. His influence is more subtle than Sinatra's however...

But what are we talking here when we say "entertainer"?
