DOC LINK:
Doc Link inspired by the legendary club sets of Farley "Jackmaster" Funk and Ron Hardy, Doc Link inevitably launched his own DJ career in 1987. His versatility and interest in genres ranging from soul and house to raw funk allowed Doc to develop a signature style of DJ'ing, mixing new and old, often including his own re-edits and versions of popular tracks. This dedication earned Doc Link a sterling reputation in his home city of Chicago and led to numerous appearances and gigs across the country. Soon he ventured into house remixing, and it was a winning collaboration with friend Roy Davis Jr. on "Dance Shake" that further propelled Doc Link into the limelight. Continued collaborations with Davis Jr. as well as a production alliance with Malik Alston for the classic "Back 2 Chicago" on King Street cemented Doc's place in house music. Recently he started his own Liberate Recordings imprint with New York City's DJ EMan. Still, it's behind the decks where Doc Link shines the brightest where his DJ sets are energetic, raw, and completely from the soul. The legacy of Chicago house shines bright with Doc Link.

Better know as DJ EMAN:
At a young age Eric Clark, also known as DJ Eman, knew where he wanted to be: smack dab in the thick of New York's vibrant house music scene. Eman immersed himself in the culture working his way from nightclub security guard to Tommy Boy Records promotions man, all the while developing his craft as a DJ. Years of playing his eclectic blend of house in various NYC hot spots paid off as Eman was able to co-found his own weekly event in 1997, the infamous Bang The Party. This also paved the way for Eman's current weekly, Deep See at Sapphire, where he continues to move bodies with his unique and soulful DJ sets. Eman's first foray into production was "Day By Day" on Hipbone Records, a collaboration with Daryn DJ Quad Brandon and vocalist Sweet Sable. A celebrated string of singles followed including the classics "Musical Prayer", "Brooklyn (Where I Live)", "I Am The Road", and the perennial house music staple "It's Yours" on Chez Music. Eman's infectious and instantly recognizable vocal hook in "It's Yours" continues to spill out of club speakers worldwide. Recently Eman formed Liberate Recordings with Chicago's Doc Link to further increase his musical output. Throughout this activity Eman remains focused and true to DJ'ing, the first love that helped get him this far. Behind the decks, where Eman pays tribute to NYC's house music history with unexpected and inspiring selections, is where he truly excels.
