wow! You guys got off easy. We got 28 inches this weekend and more to come tonight into tomorrow. My car hasn't been off the block since friday.

My family in MD got hammered for sure since they in Hyattsville. And of course being
on a very residential area, its taking a lil while for the plows to really clean the area up good. I may not look foward to what we cats in NY are going to get, but pales in comparison to what my MD fam got and is going to get.

I was having fun with it the last 4 days...

But now... I just woke up and am scared. The windows are rattling, there are 3 foot icicles dangling off the building roof (angled to fly right through my windows!), and the snow is falling heavier than I've ever seen it in DC....

A rare time I wish I lived with someone....(hugging kitty cat closer)

Yeah...we haven't gotten the windy nasty bits yet, that's later. Gonna take Wolf and Ellington out again in a bit. Ellington (Chow) LOVES this weather. Wolf (German Shepard) takes it in stride ...like he does everything...but I notice he's not one to stay out in the snow if going in is an option...unlike a certain Chow around here...

Seriously though, the super should look into getting the stuff off off there.
Folks get injured from those things falling off; and its not just the sharp
edges, but the shear weight of the ice when its coming down from a high area.
One of them badboys damn near concussed me when I was coming out of my
house.
