Not sure how he got my password or if it was him. I'm almost positive it was PS. A friend of mine who does IT for CPS said AIM is very easily hacked. Those still using aim to share music are using it at their own risk.

So how is he getting the music that isn't being shared on aim. By the way I find it hard to believe the most popular I'm software in the world is "easily" hacked. And trust me. I'm no fan of that racist. I just believe if you want a track to b safe, you won't give it out.

Some very popular NY djs used to lift music from mxed shows on the radio. I'm sure he isn't the only one still doing that practice. Let Jim do what he does. He isn't a factor at all in this scene. We all were kool with him till he showed he's a racist. His new friends will find out soon enough.

I've said it here a few times in the past: AIM, Yahoo IM, MSN Messenger are all easily hacked by any entry-level black hat.

this is much more likely than google seaches for sendspace and rapidshare. I would have a lot more unreleased cdr's if that worked

I'm already looking forward to next week's DJ PS topic!

    Subjects to be discussed:

    File stealing
    Racism
    Facebook friend requests
Spats between DJ PS and people that are actually known in the real world
    AIM, Google, Yahoo I'M, etc.

Keep the name of the best DJ of the world alive........

Let's do this!......JMJ *searching for foam #1 finger*

Maybe, just maybe, someone who has access to a lot of shit, trades with dude, thinking it'll get them a booking in Spain.

Ya never know and I know plenty of folks who will rip from a mix, expescially if it's not a tweaked out track or has any drops over it.Look at what they did to that Peven jam in the UStream video of Timmy rocking deep...cats ripped that and circulated it...and plenty of folks are playing it.

I want to say it was Burnin hot.

Wait, are you absolutely positive of this? Kostas claims to be in Greece (PS is in Spain) and looks pretty legit, and I don't see anything giving him away offhand, but of course it could be a front. He even has links to Traxsource releases, rather than filesharing dls.

Let us know how you know this is him.

Yes, yes I did. It was meant to be a joke. Wasnt joking about sending him a file
with a virus on it, though.

    With all that.....

As far as ToT's comment, I stated a long while back when this mess started, that
folks needed to be a lot more careful how they handle their music on the net. I
know its inconvenient, but really, if I wanted to send you a track, or vice versa,
we could most certainly find a way to send it a lot more securely than going
through one of these file sharing sites.

We cant control folks snatching music from a mix put up on the net (or from a mix cd).
We cant really control what happens once the music is officialy available for sale. But
we can control how that music is handled before is made available for puclic consumption.
And positive control of the unreleased music will help keep jokers like that Piece of Shit
from getting his hands on it before it is available to everyone.

Just because it is old news to the people here, doesn't mean we shouldn't expose him as the evil Racist he is.. however lame a person he also clearly is.

My issue with him was never about the whole music piracy thing... my thoughts on that whole thing are best kept unsaid.

I have been inundated with messages of support and people thanking me for exposing him, SO i believe it was the right thing to do.

I DO agree though, it is a double edged sword.. the more we expose him, the more we publicise him.. but to what extent ? He's never going to make any money from the game and gain the admiration of his peers he clearly yearns for.. I mean what's with the traxsource links on his page ? I particularly like the new photo of me as a clown on his blog with my flock behind me...

I won't mention him again, sorry for bumping the topic once more.

all i'm saying is that every couple of months somebody else is wronged by this guy in some way. next month it will be some other producer complaining about him. rants go back and froth and nothing really gets done. what i said was, pool your energies, your resources. whether its his racist comments or his piracy, whatever, either really go at him 100% or leave him alone. with all the ranting and raving that goes back and froth whenever he pisses somebody off, i'm really surprised nothing real has been done about it.
