Some very popular NY djs used to lift music from mxed shows on the radio. I'm sure he isn't the only one still doing that practice. Let Jim do what he does. He isn't a factor at all in this scene. We all were kool with him till he showed he's a racist. His new friends will find out soon enough.

Thats PS. the more people know about him might bring him some traffic but it will also alert a lot of cats who he has befriended and have no idea about this dude.

Wait, are you absolutely positive of this? Kostas claims to be in Greece (PS is in Spain) and looks pretty legit, and I don't see anything giving him away offhand, but of course it could be a front. He even has links to Traxsource releases, rather than filesharing dls.

As far as ToT's comment, I stated a long while back when this mess started, that
folks needed to be a lot more careful how they handle their music on the net. I
know its inconvenient, but really, if I wanted to send you a track, or vice versa,
we could most certainly find a way to send it a lot more securely than going
through one of these file sharing sites.

We cant control folks snatching music from a mix put up on the net (or from a mix cd).
We cant really control what happens once the music is officialy available for sale. But
we can control how that music is handled before is made available for puclic consumption.
And positive control of the unreleased music will help keep jokers like that Piece of Shit
from getting his hands on it before it is available to everyone.

this saga has gone on for several years now. same crap back and forth, same responses from both sides. but what has really been done about it? has anyone met this guy in person, physically? why are so many people dumb enough to keep him as a friend on facebook or wherever? basically you have a bunch of grown men going back and forth, for years about the same stuff over and over again, like a bunch of silly young girls. do something about it! if this guy is such a threat, if his actions have affected so many people, if so many people are pissed off about him, then actually get of your ass and do something! legal action, a visit, some sort of campaign, a beatdown, something to end this school girl nonsense already...i mean, every few months you hear about some pissed off producer having their tracks ripped off by this guy, then flamed by him in return...you mean to tell me that a bunch of deep house producers can't pool their resources together to go after this guy!? grown ass men, in the same alleged community!? here's ONE guy...ONE f*ckin' guy that is pissing everyone off, and all we get every few months is some pissed off response by some producer who got his tracks ripped off, crying about it, saying legal action is not worth it. pool your resources! really go after the guy! its ONE guy!!! at the very least, you mean to tell me NOBODY has the resources to find him and at least confront him, slap him around a bit, something!? holy f*ck...i had a legal situation, couldn't do it alone, so i got together with others and its getting done, boom. and that's going after a large entity. thousands of people come out to hear certain dj's play, some fill stadiums...but you mean to tell me that a handful of deep houzzzze producers can't go after ONE schmuck hiding behind the internet!? this one, big bad evil bad guy called dj ps!? are you for f*ckin' real!? he's one loser, one wanna be. not some multinational corporate entity or evil government or james bond villain. you got record labels going after little girls for file sharing a couple of their tracks. but a bunch of producers can't take one scumbag down. amazing. mofos showing up at the wmc every year, flying out to festivals etc, but can't take one guy down. all that crap i read about the decline of men in society must be true.

all i'm saying is that every couple of months somebody else is wronged by this guy in some way. next month it will be some other producer complaining about him. rants go back and froth and nothing really gets done. what i said was, pool your energies, your resources. whether its his racist comments or his piracy, whatever, either really go at him 100% or leave him alone. with all the ranting and raving that goes back and froth whenever he pisses somebody off, i'm really surprised nothing real has been done about it.
