man...this is scary....this whole war brewin' is f'd up...I'm gettin' scared cuz all these people are set to die for each other's countries...and to tell you the truth I'm actually scared for myself as I fly all over to make a living...It's a big chunk of change that i'm gonna be missin' and on top of that there's the fear of my safety!...I wonder if there's some kind of ban on flying out of the country during war time....If this turns out to be a war started because of greed and somethin' real bad happens here...ohh man I don't even want to think about the ramifications......

tis a sad day my friends.....

peace and love

Greetings dennis f

5 days after 9/11 I flew to Japan. 15hr flight on JAL. Left from JFK.

Yup, I was very nervous. To top that off, I stayed for 1 month and returned the same day they started bombing Afghanistan. Another 15 hr flight.

Soon I will be flying overseas on two seperate trips to Europe.

All I kept thinking was I hope the shizit doesn't hit the plane.

I agree - it is a difficult time to travel. I am not looking fwd to it.

Hang in there,

d

it's a sad day, especially for democracy, when the people, the voters, are scared of their elected(?) leaders.... people gotta stand up and do something now.....

The Dixie Chicks(hate the name of this group btw) retracted their anti war statements and criticism of Bush because of a backlash from radio
stations and listeners. They were "sorry" for dissing their president. The same kind of thing happened to Eartha Kitt when she commented against
the Vietnam war,her career came to grinding halt.A lot of those troops could be members of our own family,Lord knows what theyr'e up against.War isn't the answer.Dennis I'll pray for your safety as well as for others playing out.

i think i read somewhere that if us goes to war, border crossings will be closed, large gatherings of people (ie festivals, galas, etc) will be cancelled, and air travel will be severely restricted, but dont quote me on that.

on another tip, i watched bushes speech last night and noticed that he totally failed to address the issue of all of the anti-war protests that have been going on globally.

has he ever addressed this issue directly in any of his speeches?

If he has I'd like to see the tape for myself. How does he get away with it?

Hi dennis f
I would wait a few days like David M did when he flew out to Japan. Kinda feel things out, You know what I mean. At this point health is worth more than change in your pockets.
