SkinTite Launch Party Friday 19th March - Every 3rd Friday at Avalon

After a successful one-off Thursday night party, Skintite has been invited back to Avalon for a new monthly residency. SkinTite launches on Friday 19th March and takes place every 3rd Friday thereafter.

Skintite residents Dante, djsoulprovyder and Larry Xavier will provide a mixture of Funk, Boogie, Latin, Jazz, House and all styles in-between. Joining them each month with be special guest djs.

For the launch party on Friday 19th March SkinTite welcome's Japan's very own DJ Uchikawa. Anyone thats heard Uchikawa play before will have witnessed his extensive knowledge of dance music from classics to techno. Uchikawa's reputation is based on his highly original sound making and mixing sense, and he is well respected by the artists with whom he works in Japan and abroad. Uchikawa is also known for his enormous record collection – the godfather of rare groove, Norman Jay MBE (UK), offered Uchikawa high praise, calling him the "the Japanese 'Jay'".

Outside Japan, DJ Uchikawa has performed with Osunlade, Frankie Valentine, DJ Spinna, Glenn Underground, Karizma, Alton Miller, Joaquin 'Joe' Claussell, Frankie Knuckles, Jerome Sydenham, Theo Parrish, Atjazz ,Rap Saunders, and other well-known names. He has also supported Norman Jay MBE, Soul II Soul, Young Disciples and others on tour.

As this is the launch party admission is FREE before 11pm.
