Many pegged these two squads to meet in the finals but the stars have aligned and the quarterfinals is where they will settle the score. Barcelona must be considered the favorites heading into this match considering the level they have been playing at (particularly Messi) and that they are the defending champions. Further adding to Barcelona’s favor is the possibility of the Gunners being without Fabregas, Arshavin, and Nasri. Without those 3, I’m not sure what sort of threat they will pose in the attacking third. Look for Barcelona to get the first leg victory and eventually advance to yet again, another semifinal.

    Pick:

    Barcelona 2 – 1 Arsenal

    Bet of the Match:

    Barcelona at 2.38 from 188Bet

I am now leaving the office early to watch this match!!!! And yes I am a Barcelona supporter, and yes I have been to Spain to watch matches at Camp Nou, and yes I follow football. I wanted to get that out of the way before someone comes at me like ARMENOID did last night asking who the fuck DodgeDanger is........

Answer: Junior Member, House head and avid football supporter...... oh and pics or it never happened!!! Just a few of my fav's if you want more ask....
Nice pics. I took in my first game at Camp Nou last October. Got some great pics and dope video of the walk to and from the stadium as well as the match.

I bet 3-3 next week. Can you imagine?

I would be extremely surprised if the 2nd leg is anything but a 4:1, or something like that, outcome for Barca.

    Mannnn....FUCKING gutted. We could've done the 5-5.

But over the two legs Barca were by far the beter team. I lost ALOT of respect for some of their players today though- rolling around like they've been shot. Especially Messi- he doesn't need that in his game.

Need to go drown my sorrows.

Did you catch that crap... What about when Ebouie straight armed that kid and he grabs his face, flopping around.

It's that stuff that turns me off from watching the South American and Spanish leagues.

There was one time when messi tried to dribble the entire squad, Denilson puts a vicious, clean, tackle on messi. After messi realizes he's lost the ball, he flops around crying for the foul.

True, the theatrics by players suck. I stopped watching Chelsea because Drogba would fall everytime somebody touches him. I think that FIFA sometimes forgets that football is a contact sport so not every tackle is a foul.

    That was a great tackle!

I thought the ref was weak overall although kudos to him for waving Diaby to play on after he nicked the ball in midfield, during the build up to Nik's goal.
