I'm looking to check out your country, will go from Brussels or Paris to San Francisco (my brother got a job today and will begin to work in September).
Any website/company who would make me spend less?
Thanks in advance

This is the one I use. It throws out all the fares, beginning with the cheapest.
http://www.flugsupermarkt.com
http://www.swoodoo.com/nl
Don't know if swoodoo has a Belgian presence.
...
for inner european check these out www.ryanair.com . www.easyjet.com , and www.airberlin.com
but watch out for checked luggage weight
Thanks for Kayak and Swoodoo, for your information, I've seen good prices on www.dohop.com.
Will continue my hunt for the cheapest flights.

Haha...
Ryanair are a shifty bunch of cunts. Mlle & I are down in Cartagena for a wedding next week. We're flying Ryanair from FRA-Hahn "Intl." (which is 100 miles in the boonies halfway to Luxembourg) to Alicante.
The thing is the return flight is advertised as €71,-,.......
...........but then it's extra online boarding (€10,-),
...........baggage (15 kg per piece limit; 1st piece €30,- , 2nd piece €100,-(!!!) ),
...........insurance (€20,-) and
...........admin charges (€10,-).
You really have to be careful with the fine print and the boxes to check, because if you arrive at the airport without your boarding pass or overloaded, they will eviscerate you LOL.
Mlle at first thought we'd be OK with one bag between the two of us, till I told her to get lost and spring €30,- for her own checked bag.......we'll need that one just for the six pairs of shoes she needs for three days...
Have to be careful with Ryanair.
...
i always check www.sidestep.com first.. but all of these search engines like kayak are pretty much the same.. they just spit out what the airlines are offering that day..
i waited and waited to book my may flight to europe and finally it came down in price a little.. Virgin here we come!
and whatever you do, do not forget to print your boarding pass at home and bring it to the airport with you. if you dont ryanair tack on another aprox 50 euro to print the boarding pass at the airport !!!!!
www.whichbudget.com has so many options for flights to everywhere. a friend turned me onto this about three years back and i have been using it ever since. it allows to make your own routing with all the low budget airlines.
