    lifting/removing a vocal from a song

Dennis, what is a good way to lift a vocal (or even an important part of a song) from a tune so that I can construct a completely new song around the acapella.

If i can't get the parts .....well then ..I don't "lift". End of story. Ain't cool to do.

in all honesty there isn't any way to lift a vox off a tune nowadays...to much reverb crosses over the stereo spectrum to do a phase trick...which removes a vox anyway..so that doesn't help you at all.

so my answer is ...dunno...and I wouldn't do it anyway.
