    The producer work map.

I'd like to know if you could put down a path for the producer that would be quite the same for any of his works?

    for example:
    - writing down / recording the primal idea,
    - setting the drum patterns,
    - working on the track structure (breaks, peaks...)
    - jamming the groove,
    - knobing the fx and filters,
    - EQuing the channels,
    - Mastering the piece of art.

I know I haven't read everything on the topic, but I wish to know if there are some parts of the process I'm missing when working on my projects.

Thanks, what more can I say?

    dude..if i could make a workmap...I would've done one for myself!!!!

    LMAO!

it's all practically a hit or miss affair. No set way of working. No planning. The best records come about this way. I hate having to go to a studio and force myself to work in map mode because i'm blowing money on time. That doesn't help creatively wise. That's just me though.

I think you have to learn each part of what you're asking about seperately and fully. Tons of resources for this. Hours of reading online.

You put all of it together eventually and start doing it on autopilot. That's how I did it.
