i've sat on the floor in protest before - mainly at parties 'back in the day' where I was expecting disco and got vulgar, bitch-laden juke 'music' instead -

now, folks are more likely to leave the floor to get a drink - which is positive reinforcement on bs. hard call on how to correct this - other than taking it to the source (i.e. the promoter)

Back in the Day, I remember seeing/hearing a group of "The Children" just start singing something else (other than what was playing) on the dance floor in a circle, and just start jamming to the song they wanted to hear. They would start out singing the sound system. Now if THAT dosent let a dj know he/she sucks........
