A man who isn't gonna abide her shit IN THE SLIGHTEST.

My daughters aren't that type, but they're strong, and my son in law will go heads up with my daughter and my daughter is unshakable. In that exchange of contrast, they get all their shit worked out. I love seeing it - absolutely love it - because I know they chose right for each other. They really work at it, and work things out between themselves. A lot of mutual respect happening there.

These tough, bitchy women you describe, they don't go for mutual choices - mutual anything. They are the one choosing and the man gets by/ahead/over by allowing her all the choices.

Then she stops lookin' so fly...but he's still marketable because he doesn't have a lot of miles on him...then the tabloids have something to report...

Keep in mind that these women are successful in other areas of their lives because of these same traits. Depending upon the locale and the field, it's gotta be hard for a lady to turn off the warrior in her long enough to establish something more grounded in reason with her mate.

Okay, I have a really dear friend who fits this description to a 't'. In short terms, she's a real piece of work when it comes to men. Unshakeable/Non-chalant, high post...and she knows it too. We can see it from gitty-up. Men flock to her like bees to pollen. It oozes off of her...along with the fact that she's gorgeous. I've seen the best of men (great careers, clocking dollars, good characters/credit etc) step to her with every intention to 'book' her...only to fall short. The more game they step to her with the more she turns the heat up on them. Her current beau stepped to her all strong...only to be squashed in front of some of her girls...and he & his pride came limping back for a second go 'round. That time he cut the 'bs' and now they're cozy. His points came from the rebound off of a failed jump shot ..'cause she took all of his cool points. Oh yeah, she's not quiet about it either.

The 'b*ch curtain' that some women have is like a M&M shell...to protect the insides (ie their heart). When you get to know them/us we're pretty cool.

While I agree with Danny's synopsis when it comes to relationships with overbearing control freaks and/or real bitches (which is usually the same thing because the bitch part is simply part of how the control freak maintains control), I keep finding myself going back to your description of this "bitch" and questioning it.

I wouldn't consider charisma, power, aggressiveness or attitude to be the building blocks for a bitch & I don't see a person who is drawn to those specific personality traits as being a punk either. If someone sees a woman with those traits and considers them a "bitch" my first reaction would be there's an issue with the one placing the label.

Charisma, power, aggressiveness & attitude aren't negative traits IMO.

Now, if you'd given personality traits like hate-filled, combative, argumentative, possessive, overbearing, condescending etc... those I could see being the building blocks for being a bitch... but charisma?

There's no reason for a woman to feel she has to be meek or timid or risk being branded a bitch.
