The jet's passengers and crews have been detained since Feb. 3, when the jet was seized before leaving the airport in Goma, on Congo's eastern border with Rwanda. Congolese officials say the plane was loaded with about $20 million in gold and several million dollars in cash.

    Honestly, it's a businessman's life in Africa.
Can't tell you all the stories I've heard about millions in gold (Congo), coffee (Ivory Coast), sugar (almost all west Africa), diamonds (Angola, Sierra Leone), and all kinds of stuff smuggled each and every year.

Would it be from companies, businessmen, rich locals, government leaders...They head to Brussels, London, Geneva, Amsterdam, Antwerp without any control in private jets or even in regular flights, it's insane, almost a day job.

Really nothing new, this guy just got caught!

Don't forget the World Bank, IMF and Big Aid. They're the biggest players out there.

This is absolutely a story. It might not be news, but it is most definitely a story.
