    Obama's Irish Anti-Colonialism.

I think we've finally discovered the origins of President Barack Obama's un-American worldview (via LGM):

President Obama has officially declared March 2011 Irish American Heritage Month. More importantly the White House also announced that the president would be brewing his own beer called White House Honey Ale for St.Patrick’ Day.

Obama, who said he will pay for the beer making equipment himself, has made presidential history by being the first U.S. president to brew beer at the White House.

It seems that Obama is certainly getting in touch with his Co. Offaly, roots although no one is sure if honey ale is brewed in the town of Moneygall (Obama's great-great-great grandfather is said to have left Offaly for New York in 1850).

I would love to know more. What I know is troubling enough. And one thing that I do know is his having grown up raised by his Irish-American mother, his view of the Brits, for example, is very different than the average American. When he gave the bust back to the Brits--the bust of Winston Churchill--it was a great insult to the British. But then if you think about it, his perspective as growing up in Dublin with an Irish mother and grandfather, their view of the Irish Republican Army is very different than ours because he probably grew up hearing that the British were a bunch of imperialists who persecuted his grandfather.

I have said many times, publicly, that I do think Obama has a different worldview and I think it is, in part, molded out of a very different experience. Most of us grew up going to Boy Scout meetings and, you know, our communities were filled with Rotary Clubs, not pubs serving cream stout. Again, I am not saying he's not a citizen, I've never said that, I've said the opposite. I've never said he's a Catholic. I wish people would ask, though, does this president have a different worldview than any other president in the history of the United States?

Great great great grandfather, so in between 1850 and now, what other blood has been mixed, apart from his father. What I'm saying is, I live in England and come from irish parents (as in born and raised in ireland) and I do have a different view to alot of English, i would consider my blood 100% irish sourced . It seems american's seemed to hold on to that distant past. I mean, if we did this in Europe it would be as confusing as fuck, arrghhh so I'm irish, but perhaps after the norman invasion, i am french, or oh the viking invasion, or spanish.....
you know what i mean ?

Thats funny, me and my brother were talking about this not so long ago...hair colour etc and the notion of the typical Irish person having red-hair (mustve been the vikings) and obviosly being portrayed like that through dolls/leprechauns/Guinness signs etc. all over the world.

indeed mate, if we carried on back and back, we're all African.

regarding the hair, there's pakistani blokes around here with red hair

Some more info on red hair

Red or reddish-tinged hair is also found in other European populations particularly in the Nordic and Baltic countries as well as parts of the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, France, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Russia and South Slavic countries.[citation needed]

Because of migration from Europe from the 16th to the 21st centuries, red-haired humans are also found all around the world, such as in North America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Siberia, etc.

The Berber populations of Morocco[20] and northern Algeria have occasional redheads. Red hair frequency is especially significant among the Kabyles from Algeria, where it reaches 4 percent.[21][22] The Queen of Morocco, Lalla Salma wife of king Mohammed VI, has red hair. Abd ar-Rahman I also had red hair, his mother being a Christian Berber slave.

In Asia, darker or mixed tinges of red hair can be found sporadically from Northern India, the northern Middle East (such as Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan,Israel, Palestine), and in rare instances on the Island of Hirado, Japan[23] and the South Pacific. Red hair can be found amongst those of Iranian descent, such as the Persians, Lurs, Nuristanis and Pashtuns. Emigration from the these people as well as parts of the Middle East, Central Asia, North India, and North Africa added to the population of red-haired humans in the Americas, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and other parts of Africa and Europe.

In Australia, small isolated populations of Indigenous Australians (mainly in Western Australia and Australia's Northern Territory) have been found with red hair.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_hair

scotland and ireland have the highest percentage of red hair in their populations. around 14%

what ethnicity contributed MCR1 to the british isles?

recent genetic studies tie the british peoples genes to the basques of spain. and they also show that celtic DNA is almost identical to basque.

so is it safe to assert that the basques contributed the red hair gene MCR1 to britain.
    did they have red hair?
do they have red hair now?

some claim it was the vikings that brought MCR1 but the Pict's predate the vikings and they were renowned as redheads.

the redhead gene is the result of a mutation when two cultures intermixed this mutation only occurred once. implying all redheads have a common ancestor. if britain has the highest percentage of redheads then you would think it was in britain the first redheads occurred. but redheads were found in earlier indo european tribes such as
the sea people, Scythian, cimmerans, tribe of dan,
does this suggest a migration of indo european redheads to britain?

in the big scheme of things, blue eyes and red hair are quite recent. there's pakistani's with red hair, and my mate tells me his village has a few red heads.

You guys are both missing the point of this satire. Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee said all this stuff about Obama and his FATHER, regarding Kenya, colonialism and independence from England for Africans.

Making it about Ireland is the satire, as American politics is full of those with Irish blood and no one would dare to say such a thing.

I find it funny that Ireland is most famous for red heads given that Scotland has the highest proportion of redheads; 13 per cent of the population has red hair and approximately 40 per cent carries the recessive redhead gene (quoted from Wiki.) I guess Hollywood has a lot to do with this perception.

In Scotland there are ginger kids everywhere, some almost look dayglo. I blame the Irn-Bru.

In a lot of latin countries red heads are considered very attractive, which is in stark contrast to how they are viewed in Britain.

I'de say it's wider than just Hllywoord. Round St Patricks day generally in America is a joke, it's a plastic as the spoon working class people are born with. Shamfest and other festivals with fucking english trance cunts playing, totally crass, by thick American cunts who can't make the fucking effort.
