Great article!
As for the charges against me, I am unconcerned. I am beyond their timid lying morality, and so I am beyond caring.
I don't think people think as much as they ought about the environment inside their homes when it comes to clean air and such. Plants are so helpful!
Glad ya'll are enjoying it! Remember to heed the pet warnings. Diffenbachia and Pothos plants are deadly to cats...

I've been adding more plants to my home, indoor and outdoor. I have asthma and I haven't had an attack in over 3 months. They really do help.
Good article, but something to keep in mind is that as much as the plants could help, reducing/minimizing the amount of chemical vapor is just as/more effective for your health. If you are thinking of redoing your carpets or linoleum, consider wood. Scotch guard? Air fresheners? There is no free lunch with petroleum based products

It's hard to say exactly, but I have a pothos, a fern, some bamboo, and a palm in a 1 bedroom apt. I also stopped using harsh cleansers, dust frequently, wash my bedding in hot water every 2 weeks, and I have a filter for my shower head (chlorine vapor is bad for your lungs). I also noticed that I have a lactose allergy that triggers my attacks, so I've cut back significantly on my dairy intake and have been exercising more. It's probably a combination of all of those things. I am hoping it goes away for good, but you just never know when one is going to hit you.
already have two of them. who knew?![]()
