I'm just curious....are you saying that we really didn't get/kill him, or do you just not believe that we buried him at sea?

-"Stupid" would be for us to say we killed him and he makes a new video later this week calling us liars.

-"Stupid" would be for us to have captured him and let everyone know he's still alive. Wanna talk about thousands of hostages being taken around the globe demanding his immediate release?

So with those two bases covered, believe whatever you want, but I can guarantee you wont ever be seeing OBL again. I, for one, am glad they did what they had to do and said what they had to say.

I think a lot of Obama worshipping has clouted people's logic here which is no surprise.

There are several things wrong with this picture.

For one the highly trained Navy Seals could have easily taken him alive or at least wounded because he was unarmed and hiding behind a woman. Instead he's shot in the head which is like an execution.

Now common sense dictates that Osama Bin Laden, the most famous guy in terrorist show business would have been valuable asset alive rather than dead because he probably knew a great deal. More so then what's on some computer equipment or hard drives. But notice they quickly executed Osama Bin Laden ramsacking the place looking for hard drives.

If they captured Bin Laden they probably could have kept it hush hush trying to glean intelligence with some interrogation. Yet you get the impression this was for publicity and they wanted him dead.

Now keep in mind Bin Laden has CIA connections. Now your seeing why they wanted him dead using the kill shot. He knew too much. Osama Bin Laden was basically wacked for the same reason mobsters wack someone. And that's what the CIA really is.

Look what's happening in Libya. They're not tying to "protect civilians" with a no fly zone. They're trying to assassinate/overthrow a leader so they can put their own people in.

All you people here are just defending the person that you idolize like you're under some type of spell. If anyone criticizes Obama here come the PC police crying "ban." But if you look at Obama his campaign was very reminiscent of the snake cult in the move Conan The Barbarian. Once you start worshipping a leader it's very much a cult-like mentality and sometimes that will clout your judgement. Something isn't right here but you are not supposed to question things. You go along with the propaganda. CIA propaganda fed to the news headlines.

Obama worshipping? Where did you get that from what I wrote?
If you read what I wrote, yes, there's a small possibility we took him alive to try to get intel from him, but they'd be dumb (and irresponsible) to tell us that was the case. Personally, I think we killed him on the spot, and should have killed him even if he was on his knees with his hands folded on top of his head.
As for his CIA connections, anything he wanted to reveal to hurt us would have been revealed years ago. After 9/11, he knew more people would want him dead than alive.

BTW - it's clouded, not clouted.

    Thanks for playing.

I really believe our collective attempt to reason with conspiracy theorists of the interwebz is making us dumber by the post. You really can't argue with a person who's whole ideology is based on hunches and unsubstantiated shit they read on the web.

If nobody argues with them, perhaps they'll scurry back to those weird long, scrolling, multi-colored, multi-font message boards from whence all their half-baked theories originated. And then they can simply agree with each other all day long. Everybody wins.

Leaving him alive? Expecting him to talk? Cooperate? Be of value? About what? He played the role of demon. He chose the role. When have you ever seen this story played out where the villain lives on?

It's a shame all he could do is die. He owed the world so much more than his death.

Mark, you can't expect more from the USA than you can from the total of basic humanity. I mean, you can, but you'll be disappointed.

The death of Osama Bin Laden stops the dynamic. It causes release. It ends the excuses to trade pain across seas. It wraps it up. The demon is dead. The boogieman is no more.

Now it's just us who are tired of bloodshed. Now what are we gonna do? In this new day, who is gonna be first to sponsor terrorism NOW? Who is gonna be first to perform a unilateral action against a sovereign nation NOW? Who will be the one to break the symmetry?

    No one wants to be.

Sorry man. The war continues until Fredo gets wacked. Then you know it's over.

Thanks for this response, man. You truly have a way with words.
