But what the hell was wrong with that cop?
Maybe the dickhead cop who all of you think was doing a great job that locks up black guys on the street for saying "I wasn't talking to you" wasn't on duty that day.
Money was out of control....... I'm surprised no one laid him out! He obviously didn't have a weapon (wait nevermind!).
Galaxy rays; Powerful!!! =D
KEEP THE BLENDS TIGHT & THE PROGRAMMING RIGHT
Maybe you should have named the thread - "Is This a Lack Of Police Power"
It's just a trust fund kid throwing a tantrum. Looks like the L train.

"I Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda ..." today, is likely the result of saying "F### it" yesterday
Fuck is wrong with me? How could I have not understood that?
according to patrol guide procedure 216-05 regarding mentally ill or emotionally disturbed persons...
UNIFORMED MEMBER OF THE SERVICE:
...take reasonable measures to terminate or prevent such behavior. Deadly physical force will be used ONLY as a last resort to protect the life of persons of officers present
if EDP is unarmed, not violent and is willing to leave volunarily;
(1) edp may be taken into custody without the specific direction of a supervisor.
In all other cases, If EDP's actions do NOT constitute an IMMEDIATE threat of serious physical injury or death to himself or others:
(1) attempt to isolate and contain the EDP while maintaining a ZONE OF SAFETY until arrival of patrol supervisor and emergency service personnel unit
(2) DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE EDP INTO CUSTODY WITHOUT THE SPECIFIC DIRECTION OF A SUPERVISOR.
2. request ambulance, if one has not already been dispatched
a. ascertain if patrol supervisor is responding , and if not, request response.
btw, zone of safety is approximately 20 feet...
punching, hitting, pushing people does not constitute serious physical injury
there can be an argument that pushing people into the tracks will result in serious physical injury as there is the potential for an oncoming train, and that's when the cop took action when it appeared he was fighting with people too close to the platform..
you're not a cop until you have wrestled with a naked person
i'm quoting NYC, being that the video you posted is in Ohio, I am will be baited into watching it as i can't speak for their procedures
"punching, hitting, pushing people does not constitute serious physical injury"
doesn't the term "one punch homicide" exist?
"there can be an argument that pushing people into the tracks will result in serious physical injury as there is the potential for an oncoming train,"
You can't seriously believe thats the only possible risk to someone being pushed onto the tracks?
Beautiful. A little insanity. A little nudity. And the whole social order crumbles.
i wish i could go to some of your jobs with a video camera and pick apart everything you guys do both right and wrong
let's start with posting from work
I hear you on the second part. Except it didn't seem like that officer really attempted to restrain him. I will give you that he may have been hamstrung by procedure but had he acted proactively I don't think there would have been some public outrage. He could have arrested him for public nudity or whatever that statute is and be done. They don't pay you guys to be psychoanylysts and no one gets diagnosed after one session anyway
