I'd bet, you don't need software. You need methodology. Check this out:

For the uninitiated, the GTD methodology works wonders, stressing moving tasks from the mind and organizing them based upon priority to effectiveness, as opposed to perception. It's completely software agnostic, although there are a few really solid tools based upon the methodology that are available.

Most people take personal organization for granted, moving passively through tasks and outcomes through outside stimulus (read: complaints, fear of failure). A few tweaks to your thought process and you'll be able to manage what's in front of you.

please be more specific ... give me an example of what your problems/challenges are

... and as for them posts above, fooey (although it's good information) - notice my esteemed friends gave you web links, rather than sending to the library card catalogue ... applications indeed can help you be more efficient, but usually, only after you know what you want to accomplish (in more detail)

Keep in mind, I don't even use the calendar on my iPhone and couldn't tell you the date, even though it's on every read out all around me.

I can tell you how many yards to the flag, tho' - eyeball that shit. Maybe I should just stay in Ch00ch's caddy thread.

My personal methodology for organization...is to eliminate shit that has to be organized.

I get tired of doing laundry - I take shit to the green Good Will drop box. That sort of thing.
