I have posted the following message on the House2000 and Masters at work boards and wanted to post it on this board in the hopes of reaching other people who knew Zeke.

I'm not sure if anyone on this board knew him, but I just wanted to send this out of respect, and in the hopes that someone he knows is on this board.
Zeke Velazquez was killed this past Tuesday (July 1st, 2003) while working for the Boys and Girls Club in Riviera Beach, Florida. I know he had done some work for Louie and his crew up in New York/New Jersey/Philly and also during the WMC parties in Miami. I met him several years ago and he helped us on our first release back in 2000 for a Florida independent label. He had recently moved back down to Florida and I saw him recently at WMC 2003 at the Soulfuric party. We were planning on working together again on some new music and other events down here.

I found out about the funeral too late and was unable to attend, but will find out where it was and pay my respects.
We've lost a true house head - someone who was poised to make some serious noise in the industry.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends that may be on this board.
