And here's how 2011- 2012 ended. Ian (lolz) pulled it out in the end by 2 whole points. Did something I couldn't do last year, hold onto the lead. Shaun sends his congratulations.

Chrissy pulled out of last place in the last week.

Bigups to Ced for a late season run

Querck was looking like a contender near the end and then tried to get cute with his guesses.

Ray beat TAC so there's that

    Congratulations to Chelsea.

Good game, david luis had a hell of a game. Dude was everywhere on defense. Gomez was a non factor, they shut is ass down.

Robben, what a shame. Dude chokes and misses a crucial penalty to win the bundesliga and again, chokes to help his team win the champions league...sad.

Drog's with a poetic finish. Sweet win.

Chech to me was man of the match though. But Drogba was clutch as always. True champion (tho he's a major bitch on the field sometimes). Chelsea deserved it after they got robbed a few years ago in my mind.

such a class act. You can see the respect he gets from all the footballers of the world, and it is rightfully deserving. Did you see when he went over and console the Bayern players who missed the penalty? Pure class.

After watching the epl the past two seasons (and not just the world cup) I have come to the conclusion that I need a home with a squad. I could just enjoy the game, right? Nah. I have 2 squads that are on the no list already.

Liverpool (Personal reasons) and Tottenham (after Redknapp not releasing Giovanni Dos Santos and giving him absolutely no playtime, I have sworn to be his lifelong enemy lol)

This leaves me with a few good clubs: Man U, Man City, Chelsea, Newcastle, Arsenal………etc
My son is dead set on Man U, no changing his mind with Javier Hernandez on the squad. I told him that once he made that decision to be a fan, he cannot jump ship when they are down in the dumps…..a fan will support through good and bad…

I have a home in La Liga. My 8 year old son and I have already drawn the line in the sand between Barca/Madrid. He is a Barcelona fan, I, a Real Madrid fan.
So I guess what I’m asking for is a bit of help in deciding which club to call home…..feedback is appreciated…

Man Utd are not down in the dumps, they lost the league on goal difference to a team with Unlimited amounts of cash to spend (though i acknowledge that United too have had the luxury of being the biggest-spending club in the league in past seasons).

As Ray pointed out a wee while ago, United threw the league away against Everton.

They had a lot of injuries to key players too. It will be a learning experience for them. Manchester City winning the league and Chelsea winning the Champions League is sommething United needed to happen.

United have some exciting youngsters and will definitely make new signings in the summer. They will bounce back stronger than ever, as they always do.

Oh right, I read you wrong mate. But I know what you mean, It will be interesting to see the increase in the sale of City shirts this year around the countries this end of the pond. Its a bit sickening. Im surprised they won it and cant see it happening again next season to be honest.

Robben is an idiot. And he's the perfect scapegoat. You could say he's the reason Bayern effed up all contests this season. They must be kicking themselves down in Munich for giving him another contract.

The most mindboggling bit of all: there's a Bayern - Holland friendly on tomorrow, negotiated after a big row last year over 'guess who' getting injured in a Dutch international and missing three months of Bayern's season. In other words: Bayern, who make up about a solid third of the German squad, are giving Holland, who are in their group, a sparring session barely 3 weeks to the start of the European Cup. Robben.

That said, I was the only guy in the pub cheering inwardly when Chelsea won. Not because I particularly like Chelsea or dislike Bayern, but because of the switch-on patriotism that transforms this country, and is expected and demanded, in situations like these. I'm not a patriot.

for me Gomez lost that game. Dude was playing with two left feet. Usually deadly, he wasn't hitting the target on multiple chances

Try watching the diving cunt in the fa cup final with a youth, that might change your mind. They are supposed to be role models not fucking play actors, some of those dives were fucking sickening, he was diving and there's no one within 20 feet of the cunt, hero my fucking arsehole.

The Bayern Chelsea game was a better example of good football, really enjoyed it, mainly because Drogba stayed on his cunting feet.
