I lost my job, independent life and my place in Tokyo after 3/11, but I am very lucky because I still have a place I can call home, live without much concerns for the radiation, and cook and sleep.. listen to music and get my dancing fix in the kitchen when I need....and most importantly, my YouTube channel got backed up by YouTube since I won the NextUp Contest early this year...

What about those children who may have lost their home?
Do they have the Internet in their temporary housing?
Are they still stuck in the evacuated area (public gym) etc?
What goes in those children's minds who may have lost their parents because of the disaster (and those adults that decided to kill themselves, because of the hopeless situation)??
All these questions bother me truly but I decided to keep my focus on WHAT I CAN DO TO MAKE DIFFERENCE.

If you can feel me on this, please share the video with your folks, and if you are able to donate, please remember to leave me a comment on the guestbook. I am going to put together a Team Kumigar booklet for the children to encourage them and to let them know they are not ALONE in this..

Kumigar...I love what you are doing and the generosity of spirit! Keep doin' your thing! I'm gonna subscribe n share w some educators I know...is there a way we can do something involving my students? Maybe a dance video? I have great dancers in my classes...

Hi guys.. so update: My "raise funds for kids's holiday season" project was approved and I made the announcement on Nov 1st, but due to the global YouTube policy, where I must have an "approved" American NPO status, I had to cancel.

But I did not want to do nothing for the kids who went thru so much and must continue to face the radiation crisis, so I made the revised video to raise awareness about what has happened and continue to happen.

Personally, I will still give gifts for the kids who are living not too far from the plant.
I believe that it is the kids that share the light in any household.
I hope their infinite innocent light encourage the adults to make the decision that is necessary before too late (get outta there).
But as you know, we can only help ourselves in this thing called "life", so I am thinking of making a collaboration video to send our love and prayers for those in desperate needs. Who knows, maybe there is a millionaire watching my videos and offer something that normal people like us can not do!
U know what I mean?

So please share my video to spread the words, cause I really do believe in the power of "prayers" and I really hope we can generate some divine energy together for these people (survivors and fighters) to receive some miracles that are necessary for them to move forward with their lives.

I got my miracles too! Like I said I lost a lot of things after 3/11, and when I thought I had nothing left, all these things started to fall into my life (YouTube Partnership, a subscriber telling me about the NextUp Contest, and me sending my entry video, and being selected as one of the winners, and now I have this platform to share the voices that need to be heard).

So please if you care about what these people had to go thru, please consider helping us.

For my project videos, I must have the written approval of copy rights from the owners of the materials.
If your students are dancing to a song by a a particular underground artist, I will need to get the permission beforehand (i know this can be a bit tricky).
I am given a full catalogue permission usage from some labels, and if your dancers can dance to their song then I can feature the footage in my project video(s).

Holiday season is just around the corner, I know many of you get together with the loved ones at home and also attending special music events.
