Ok I'm a little late with this Jay. I read that thread and I see many songs were not mentioned.
Just maybe this thread could extend the range of slow jams mention in Rodney's thread, no?

I am sure you have more favorite slow jams then what you mentioned

While we've covered this one before, it's worth re-visiting, so I'll bite:

Straight From the Heart - Con Funk Shun
Share My Love - Magnum Force
    Say Yes - Lakeside
    Anything by the Isleys
    Closer - Atlantic Starr
Turn Out The Lights - Teddy Pendergrass
If Only For One Night/Creepin' - Luther Vandross

I love the old school slow jams......JMJ
As there are so many more un mentioned in that thread!

There are many threads on this board that have been addressed over and over and not every one participates in them all so, its ok to bring back an older topic.

To set the record straight I never saw that thread and what made me start a thread like this is because I'm in the crib just picking tracks at random.

Now here are some more of my Favorites that were not mentioned in Rodney's thread..

    Dianna Ross " Missing you"
    Blue Magic " Side Show"

I am playing these as I type!
Michael Jackson " I wanna Be where you are"
Michael Jackson "Got to be there"
    Michael Jackson "Were almost there"

A great Slow/Love Jam that people don't mention much is "Isn't It A Shame" by Labelle on the "Chameleon" album. If you've broken up with someone you "still" love, this is the one to bring the tears!
