Welcome to the board, rOn1172... we hope you enjoy your stay.

I know the first song. I play it all the time and love it, but I'm drawing a complete blank.

I've already gone ahead and bookmarked this page so I can quickly refer to it when I do come across the song again in my collection.

I sent the Youtube link to a friend that I know also has the record in their collection. But he's now stumped too. He thought it was one of Phil Asher's aliases, but he went through his Phil Asher crate and came up empty.

We'll find out... I just hope it doesn't take too long!

    Don't know song #2.

#1 I have stashed over my parents home. I keep thinking the "Nice N Ripe' label. But, I'm not sure. I remember this song because my non-black buddieswent towards raves and they made fun of me for buying 'Adult-Easy Listening' Music.
"Love of the music should be the driving force of any producer, performer or DJ. Everything else stems from that core, that love. With that love, sampling can become a tribute; An expansion on ideas long forgotten, reconstruction, collage. Using the same understanding openly and respectfully can turn DJing into a spiritual participation. It can turn a few hours of selection into essential history; Necessary listening through movement."

I asked Phil Asher if it's from him, unfortunately not.. he also don't know what it is. And I already listened through the most tracks on "Nice N Ripe" label, and didn't find it yet. But I go on thanks for the help anyway! we'll find it ;)
