    This was the game changer, right here. Like Mel Cheren mentioned in his book. The Twist shattered social norms of dancing with a partner- Hell for the first time, you didn't need one. Is that House or what? LOL!

    Now, now. Without the 60's (I'm a fan, even lived through it), there would be no TSOP, and later Disco. It's all a continuum.

    cool thread....my instinct is to go motown/northern....is that cool?

    also I love "monkey town"! a nyc oldies radio staple/favorite!


    everytime i go to the keyfood it's a 1960's dance party on the radio....i'm always snapping my fingers in the bread isle...

    Of course that's cool. Only rules is it has to be from the 60's and it has to be something you would play at a Dance Party.
