This weekend, I'm finally going to do it...

Set up my Traktor Scratch Pro 2! Had it for almost a year and barely opened the box!

I'm usually a generation behind in converting on DJ technology. lol Anyway, I'll try not to ask too many dumb questions here.

It looks like it automatically loads your iTunes library, so maybe the music transfer/uploading won't be so bad. That's what's sapped my will. LOL

Native Instruments sponsored the picnic last year and was kind enough to give us all (CF DJs) free Traktor set ups. Barely opened it since July...

I use Serato. The hard part for me was organizing and getting accustomed to selecting in a new way. That was a year ago. All good now. Best of luck.

the itunes synch is useful, but it won't remember info on all of your tracks, you'll need to import them into your track collection library to retain all of the information, i find it useful to set up playlists in itunes then literally copy and paste over to playlists in traktor, saves time.
Listen to my latest mix at the top of the blog, articles on events, music, advice and basically me mouthing off about topics in house music...

I need to come through. I usually get jammed up by Fourth of July events or doing the Hamptons. I'll reach out to you soon to discuss

Try that Traktor bible. It answers all your questions (you can beat grid disco). Also, I'd start thinking about controllers. FK is the man for advice on that topic. Lastly, I was worng; wav. Files have it all over mp3 when it comes to processing
