One of my all time faves. I don't remember the rap in the beginning though.

This song's been in my head for 2 days. Had to pass it on.

Sue, Dj Burt(Lionel Burton from Club 88 during the mid 80's to mid 90's), Used to run, 'Believe in your heart', By Larry Joseph and Science on occassions during the early 1990's, Though, I never knew the name of the plate nor the artist either(Sue, I never felt comfortable going to the dj booth asking a cat the name of a plate, while a cat was rockin, Besides, I never wanted to loose my zest for pushin up on a young lady while runnin up to the dj booth too/LOLMarkB, The cords do remind me of, 'Reachin', By Phase II too, My man/LOL.

Sue, I didn't know Larry Joseph and Science we're Fonda Rae, Leroy Burgess and Sharon Redd, Until i was listening to the clip that you provided and i saw all of they're names on the bottom of the credits/LOL, Infact, That must have been one of the last plates that Sharon Redd was apart of, Since Sharon Redd passed away during the early 90's, Sue, Do you remember when Dj Burt and Kevin O(Kevin Oliphant), Used to sell tapes direct from the Dj booth at Club 88 during the late
80's/early 90's, Infact, The cat who used to be the play-by-play announcer at the Harry James Pro-am Basketball tournament in East Orange,New Jersey(At Endenwold Park On Central ave a few minutes from Club 88 on Evergreen Place), Used to rock mad tapes by Dj Burt and Kevin O that we're live throwdowns from Club 88 during the late 80's to mid 90's too/LOL, Sue, Do you remember the plate, 'Celebrate', By Thibeau produced by Larry Joseph 1989.
Much Respect

Nice cut!
Pete, What spot had the most young ladies(No Hammer's, My man/LOL), Between Bentley's vs Club 88, My man/LOL, I would say Bentley's because Bentley's was bigger(Though it seemed, My man/LOL), Pete, Cats from New Jersey used to sneak baby-power into spots like Club 88, Cosmos, Club America, Bogies, Etc, Which was bugged to me because those spots we're dance music spots that catered to cats dressing up, Featuring shoes(No sneakers, Except for cats who we're crew
With the cats running the spot during the mid 80's to mid 90's, My man/LOL), Pete, Kevin Woodley(Dj Sugardaddy/LOL), Could go mad hard when he wanted to at Bentley's, Though the crowd at Bentley's was not musically educated as the crowd at Club 88, Cosmos, Club America, Bogies(I did not mention Zanzibar because we all know what to expect coming thru the door at Zanzibar during the late 70's to early 90's, My man/LOL), Pete, The only thing that was mad wack about Club
88 was the spot closed at 5:00am on Saturday nite/Sunday mornings during the mid 80's to mid 90's, Infact, Club America used to close at 6:00am on Sunday morning during the mid 80's to early 90's and Bogies used to close at 2:00am on Saturday nites/Sunday morning which was mad wack too, Though, I would just go to Zanzibar until closing which varied during the late 70's to early 90's, Though, Usually Zanzibar used to close at 8:00am or later depending on the crowd soupin Hippie Torrales, Tee Scott, Francis K, Larry Patterson, Tony Humphries, Etc, To continue to rock for a few more hours on Friday and Saturday nites from 1979 to the early 90's, My man/LOL.
