Last Day on the Job ... on to New Adventures (again)

After 3+ Years (1 as an Independent Contractor, 2+ as full-time), it's the last Day on the gig for the Empire - as Sr. Business Strategy Consultant (Director Level 65) ... tying up all loose adminstrative ends right now

• Knocked it outta the park, as usual, on the last client
• Put in a 3-week notice the Monday of WMC ... ended up staying 4 weeks, by request
• Not leaving for a new gig, and haven't looked for one, or even sent out any resumes ... wanted to finish strong w/o the distractions (responding to emails, calls, interviews, etc.) that often come with looking for a new gig

The gig future is excitingly unknown

... what is known is Softball Seasons start Sunday, and I just put in an application to be a Substitute Teacher in a local school system (to keep me occasionally busy, and off DHP from time-to-time) ... hopefully I'll get an interview

... all I did was apply to be a Substitute - I've subbed before long ago, during work downtime (was fun and exhausting) ... I didn't not check the box that asked if I was interested in being a PT or FT Teacher

... self-taught & hacked through PS CS3 for far too long ... time to get a bit more serious on the graphic-design tip
