Tupac performs at Coachella

You will have seen the Tupac Hologram by now. It appeared onstage with Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg during a show-stopping performance at Coachella festival at the weekend.

Well, now it's being reported that the hologram could go on tour with Dre and Snoop and that it may possibly appear during a stadium tour alongside other high profile rappers like Eminem, 50 Cent and Wiz Khalifa.

Apparently Dre has a "massive vision" for what could be done with the virtual Tupac, which is a pretty exciting but slightly scary thought. We're not sure what we think of hologram world domination. Though it does look very, very cool.

And scenes of Tupac coming back from the grave are slightly alarming, fear not. The whole thing has got the OK from Mrs Tupac herself. It's being reported that the deceased rapper's mum, Afeni Shakur, is "thrilled" with the project. She wasn't at Coachella but apparently watched the live stream of the ground-breaking performance.

so the next wave of bling is to hologramm oneself? It is cool that tupac could come back onstage, but the technology has actually already matured.

all one really needs is is high definition video sources and a special screen hung at the appropriate angle.
