Hey there everyone,
I'd like to show this doc to someone. I know there used to be somewhere you could view all three episodes in their intirety. If someone could show me where that is I'd be greatly appreciative.

Despite the numerous attempts to tell the story of House music (even from Chicago folks), that is still the best documentary on it to date, in my opinion.
"There are no uninteresting things, only uninterested people."
Todd, check out this one coming out this year, you may dig it.

my favorite part is "I try not to think about it too much ... if I think about what Ron Hardy used to do at the music box, it makes everything I've ever done shit."
"MAY YOU LIVE AS LONG AS YOU WANT, BUT NEVER WANT AS LONG AS YOU LIVE. MAY YOU LIVE TO BE 100, & ME 100 BUT MINUS A DAY, SO THAT I'LL KNOW THAT NICE PEOPLE LIKE YOU, HAVE PASSED MY WAY. AND REMEMBER, WHEN FRANKIE CROCKER ISN'T ON YOUR RADIO, YOUR RADIO JUST ISN'T REALLY ON."
The title confused me at first, as it's a Channel 4 doc, and not BBC.
Pump Up The Volume is the name of the doc. We should call it that!

i was too young to go into the clubs so I didn't get exposed through it in the way the documentary went. I wanna say that when I heard house music it was ok with it but when
I heard "Music is the Key" that's when I was really diggin it. Maybe it was because it was rapping on it? not sure.
I even remember buying "Wanna Dance (Certainly)" and trying to return it at the store. LOL
yay!
That's what it's called mate, I remember watching it on Channel 4 at the time![]()
Same Channel aired a 3 part history of Hip Hop series.

Looking for information, foo. I know there was a thread dedicated to what I'm looking for maybe 4 years ago. Maybe I should just do a search. I forgot it was called "Pump Up The Volume". Looking at the date of when I joined here I realized we've known each other for 8 years.
I prefer this doc over the book lol
