Seeing these young OKC cats win with such hard work, put a smile on my face - not that SA doesn't work hard, but they are already champions ... love how Durant is always huggin' his momma - 23yrs old, wow!

Yup. They showed an incredible amount of poise and heart for such a young team (great coaching). Gotta admit even though my Spurs went down in flames it's hard not to be happy for those guys. They are such a likable group of guys. I wish them all the best.

At 23 Durant might not be as good as he will get. That's scary.

Congrats to the OKC Thunder!!! We just witnessed the changing of the guard. They just beat the last three teams who dominated the west for 13 years. This is great for the NBA!

OKC could've done this last year but their D was suspect. Now they're all over the place even blocking dunks. No one still guards against the dribble though. It's becoming
a lost defensive art in the pros
Miami better hope they don't come out the east, cause they ain't touching them. Lebron will end up quitting the league

What Oklahoma did to San Antonio in that playoff series(Winning 4 straight games)), Reminds me of what the Portland Trailblazers did to the Philadelphia 76'ers in the championship series in 1977(Portland was down 2 games to 0 and won 4 straight and would have continued winning until the year 2012 if the championship series would have been setup to play for

That long of period of time/LOL), On the low, Maurice Cheeks(Assistant coach for the Oklahoma crew), Has done an excellent job in regards to the development of Russell Westbrook(Who was not playing the point guard spot at UCLA during the mid /late 2000's, Jordan Farmer was the point guard on UCLA's crew during Russell Westbrook's tenure at UCLA during the

Mid to late 2000's), Russell Westbrook's decison making skills are very good right about now to the point where Russell Westbrook is able to adjust during game situations in regards to setting cats up and clearing it out(Going on-on-one), As for Kevin Durant(Who i used to despise at Texas, Because Money was going big nut in college with his/LOL), Well, Kevin

Durant has adapted to giving the pill up alot more than in previous seasons(Especially to cats who are not that nice, Because that brings confidence to less-talented cats to produce in big-game situations), No matter what Kevin Durant does in his basketball career, Nothing will ever replace what Kevin Durant accomplished at the Rucker last year/LOL.

    Much Respect

Mr. Barnes, last night before he game, I watched this video 3 times and was blown away! Not only was Durant off-the-chain, but the crowd was loving every thing he did. Most importantly, the youngsters were having a ball and filled with excited. When Durant went to the sideline, I, too, wanted to be in the crowd patting on the shoulder and shaking his hand! Those youngsters will remember that day for lifetime!

And to be honest (jmo), Kevin Durant and Rajon Rondo have made me a solid NBA fan again because they are the 2 MOST EXCITING athletes on the court!!!

Cleodine, The only moment that i can remember in the last few years in regards to games played at the Rucker(Entertainers League games), That could top the moment when Kevin Durant made those 4 long jumpers at the Rucker last year, Would be the time Vince Carter trampolined in the rim at the Gauchos gym in the Bronx in 1999(Money windmilled from his sneakers

With his chest in the rim/LOL), Cleodine, I felt like i was at the Rucker during Kevin Durant's performance too/LOL, Cleodine, I would like to state this, Rajon Rando has proven to me that he is THE BEST CAT TO COME OUT OF THE STATE OF KENTUCKY(I was wrong on that one/LOL).

much respect mike, rondo is so next level its scary, although he is physically gifted, he is beating cats with his brains, when he is on the court he is thinking for the other 9 cats on the floor and usually wins. that was a great observation you made about mo cheeks helping westbrook adjust his game, but, my guess is westbrook was watching rondo on his off days and realizing that rondo was dominating the floor as a pass first point guard each and every game, once westbrook finally got it and became pass first okc was unbeatable
