We are talking about them winning a championship no? Can't do that in the regular season. C'mon son.

You do realize SAS is up 2-0 on OKC..a team who's regular season record (the regular season you put so much stake in) is better than Miami's. SAS swept Utah..who's record is identical to NY's? Look at the regular season as an indicator or look at the playoffs as an indicator. Either way you slice it, the only thing Miami does better at this point is dunk.

Both of you fools are putting words my mouth, and creating a giant straw man that I'm getting bored torching. It's Huey that said the Heat haven't proven they can beat the Spurs. That's demonstrably false. Deal with it.

Dunking will be enough to win. The Heat have the perfect combination of youth and experience.

We will see. Manu won't be able to stay healthy, and then it's up to Parker and Old Man Fundamental. Heat in 6.

Spurs in 5. Maybe 4. Miami can't play with them and definitely can't beat them in a 7 game series. Like I said your comments throughout this thread shows you have little understanding about bball and are at best a casual fan at worst a bandwagon fan. I mean aren't you a Wizards fan? Why you dick riding Miami?

Difference is the Spurs are MY TEAM. And they unlike Miami (and your crazy prediction) can actually win the series in 4 or 5 games.

Your fandom has you convinced that Miami will win a playoff series versus a team that has not lost a playoff game... Home court advantage, better road record, higher PPG, higher point differential, higher FG pct., 3pt pct., higher rebounds per game...

But Miami in 6...who's really dick riding?

Oh, so now a person can't make a prediction about the NBA finals unless it's THEIR team. Give me a break. Only casual fans think this way, Homer. This isn't "Name that Tune", where I say the Heat wins in 6 and you try to go lower to prove something.

Fandom? No, what's convinced me that the Heat can and will win is 1) they've beaten the Spurs before, 2) they have the best player in the league on their squad, 3) they have 2 of the top 15 other players on their squad, 4) they aren't old as dirt like the Spurs, 3) they have serious playoff experience, unlike OKC who's getting whooped.

    Should I go on?

2, 3, and 4 are fandom talk. 3 reasons that failed to apply versus the Mavericks (who were older than the Spurs last year).

Yet some how this old as dirt team, shoots better, wins more, rebounds more, hits higher percentage 3's and FG's, and turns the ball over less.

Right. Because having 3 of the top 15 players in the league means nothing. Please. Spurs have experience, I'll give them that. But the Heat have both experience and yoot.

There's also more parity in the East, which would explain the lower numbers when compared to Spurs.

So we are clear though, OKC sweeping the NBA Champions, beating the Lakers 4-1 this year, and making WCF two years in a row..is deemed "no serious playoff experience"?

And as for parity in the East..Im gonna just give up there and let you keep talking off emotion instead of info. I should have taken a cue from your adamant declaration that the Heat beat the Spurs twice this year. How is there more parity in the East..when there are teams in the West over .500 that didnt make the playoffs? Utah at 8th seed had an identical record as 7th seed NY but a far worse conference record. The west is the powerhouse and has been for years.

Cool. Take a break. Get at me in two-three weeks when the Heat are hoisting the Larry O'Brien trophy. We'll so who knows what about what.

Come on. The Lakers? They're almost as old as the Spurs. Pau is garbage these days, and Artest? Give it up.
