I took my beating, it's yallz turn

    Lol

Injuries are a serious factor this season. Did players just eat Twinkies during the lockout?

MarkB, Today's cats in the NBA play in mad summer tournaments(Exhibit A:Entertainers League at the Rucker), The Pro-am tournament in Los Angeles(Nickerson league if i remember correctly), Etc, Various summer camps, Hanging out mad late at night during the summer(Nothing wrong with that as long as cats dedicate themselves to being professional athletes and taking care of they're bodies, My man), Cats have various business dealings(Exhibit B:Photo shoots for magazines,

Movie roles, Making music, Cats going to and being in Fashion shows all-over the world, Etc, My man/LOL, MarkB, Magic Johnson used to take a month off after the regular season for 12 years before the HIV diagnosis in 1992, After that 1 month vacation was over, Magic would work to get in top condition(Which is completely different from being in-shape, My man/LOL), MarkB, That's why Magic very rarely would get hurt(The only injury that Magic had that cost him some time off, Took

Place in 1989 during the Detroit vs Lakers championship series when Magic pulled his hamstring in game 2, Which prevented Magic from playing in the next 2 games of the series which Detroit won 4 games to 0 in 1989, My man, MarkB, I remember my coach at Walt Frazier's camp(My man Al Braithwaite from Brooklyn), Used to build with me on how some of the camp counselors would drive from Upsala College in East Orange,New Jersey to Manhattan to hang with Walt Frazier, Earl

Monroe, Julius Erving, Billy Cunningham, Dave Stallworth, Freddie Crawford(Co-Founder of Each-One, Teach-One in Harlem in 1967, Along with Freddie Crawford playing in the NBA with the Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76er's during the late 60's to the late 70's), Etc, At spots like Charles Gallery(Which was owned by Melba Moore's ex-husband during the early to late 70's on 125thst in Harlem), Smalls Paradise(Which was owned by Wilt Chamberlain during the late 60's

To early 70's, Smalls Paradise was located on 135thst and 7thave in Harlem during the mid 40's to the late 70's), McCoy's(Which was a spot that featured Pete Dj Jones mixing during the early to mid 70s', McCoy's was located on 43rdst between 2nd and 3rdave in Manhattan), and various other spots that i cannot remember right about now, My man/LOL, MarkB, My man Al Braithwaite stated that Walt Frazier, Earl Monroe, Julius Erving, Billy Cunningham, Freddie Crwaford,Etc, Would

Stay out until 7:00am most nights(Except if some of those cats had a young lady to get it up straight with, My man/LOL), MarkB, Though, Those cats hung out mad hard during the 60's,70's, All of those cats would restrict themselves from taken part in that type of lifetyle of hanging out mad late to the next day, When the season would get close to start(Around the start of October, Though, Those cats would get in top condition in August, So when pre-season camp starts in

September, Cats are in top condition, Which prevents alot of injuries because a cats body is well conditioned to withstand any nagging injuries, Along with cats getting the needed rest and eating alot of vegetables, Which improves a cats conditioning process too, My man, MarkB, Another reason why so many cats of today get hurt, Is, Cats lift weights to much, My man(Exhibit A:Dwight Howard's back problems comes from Dwight Howard lifting mad weights on a regular basis, My

Man), MarkB, Calisthenics is the best method for a basketball cat to have in a cats physical training regiment, Because of the lack of over-doing a cats number of repetitions, Without a physical trainer soupin a cat up to do more than a cat can do, Which causes a cats body to strain and muscles weaken, My man.

    Much Respect

I'm here, but I still say that the compacted season has taken its toll on the players, this maybe why they fired Derek Fisher's ass as I've read that there was overwhelming displeasure with the way he handled the negotiations..............

We'll be back though, at some point........

Derek Fisher will say that his request to open up the books got him fired! But that's for another thread!

i think the short season played a big roll in those injuries, and it was really sad to watch not only the injuries to my team but the others as well.

i think the playoff showed for the bulls that they really need another cuter.

I am a Heat fan, been since 03. It's not like I'm taking a beating. It's actually hard not routing for their opponents. Any underdog kicking ass story is a good one.
They still haven't gelled yet. Lebron still plays point like an ass and Spolstra, like a bigger ass, keeps letting him. Don't think they will trade anyone just yet, but it don't look good

I think it's more likely Reilly takes over as coach than them breaking up the team at this point. They've only been together a couple of years.

I remember seeing Hibbert get off the bench, and run on the floor during a GTown / UConn game in 2004-ish, here in DC ... he was so uncoordinated, he almost tripped over his own feet ... amazing to see how far he's come

Shit is painful, that's why, I've been crying myself to sleep nights ever since Rose got hurt. Main concern now is whether he can come back from a torn ACL or if he'll have to completely change his style of play if he does come back.

Can you blame them? Other than Kobe the rest of the team doesn't seem to care.

Bulls couldn't beat OKC or SA. Not in a dream.
