No doubt he had skills. I think his personality may mean his not a first ballot HOFer.

That yes. But also one of the most talented receivers to ever lace them up. He was both.

It's difficult to feel for a cat that was as arrogant as he was, being a 49er fan I felt for him when they didn't have his back over the Dallas Star situation, but TO never found a way to get out of the way of himself and now he's paying the price........

Pretty sad that he got cut by the team that he co-owned (edited to past tense because I read that they terminated his ownership). There's no Randy Moss story here, it's time to hang it up.

To his "credit" (or perhaps this makes it even worse), it does not appear that he was released for his on-field abilities, having put up what look like pretty good numbers (more receiving touchdowns than games played, etc.). Still, not the way to show the NFL you can still play AND have matured. He's done.

This is very sad to see him like this in this situation!
Other than that, he’s had a wonderful week.

As you likely know by now, Terrell Owens was dropped by the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League, whom they signed and offered part ownership in the team in Dec. But it wasn’t just any breakup — T.O. came off looking like the boyfriend who got caught cheating and found his stuff on the front lawn the next morning. The Wranglers, reports TMZ, sent Owens an eviction notice, saying he had 48 hours to vacate the house they provided him — plus he had to hand over the keys to the 2012 Jeep Cherokee they gave him.

But the biggest diss of all — the $50 check the Wranglers wrote T.O. to repurchase his hefty share of the team’s ownership! The financial screwing is most likely tied to the team’s belief that T.O. breached his contract by missing a charity event and sitting out 2 away games.

Yep, Owens was bought out for fifty bucks.

He says he’s considering a breach of contract suit against the team. But if T.O. has any thoughts of rejoining the NFL (delusional, IMO), such a lawsuit would not exactly help his chances.

I HOPE THINGS GET BETTER FOR HIM!

I have a problem with peeps sayin he should be more humble or blah blah blah. It's like wanting the boxing champion of the world not being loud and proud. When you reach the greatness that he was, and I say was, you deserve to brag a little. The NFL is so full of ultimate talent that to thrive in it is indeed an accomplishment worth self promotion. I never had a problem with his
self confidence. He was truly a great wide receiver and entertainer. I miss him

    Sources: Seahawks ink Terrell Owens

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp1...attle-seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to a one-year, $925,000 deal with free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens, sources told ESPN.com's Andrew Brandt.

Owens had a very impressive workout Monday in Seattle, running the 40 in 4.45 seconds, sources told ESPN's Ed Werder.

Owens hasn't played in the NFL since the 2010 season with Cincinnati when he caught 72 passes for 983 yards and nine touchdowns.

The 38-year-old Owens didn't get any NFL offers to play last season after surgery on his left knee.

Expecting production from Owens might be a long shot based on recent history. According to ESPN Stats and Information, of the 187 NFL players with at least 20 catches last season, Donald Driver was the only one older than 35. Hines Ward and Tony Gonzalez each had more than 20 catches, but were just 35 last season.

Owens had 35 catches for 420 yards and 10 touchdowns while playing eight of 11 games for the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League. He was released and lost an ownership stake in the team in May.
