Ive been waiting for PAC to lose. And as far as I'm concerned he did to Marquez in their last fight. But at least that was close. Bradley didn't beat him. Didn't hurt him. Basically didn't even puff him up. Bradley was staggered several times and if you wanna say he lost the last 3 rounds , fine. But there were 9 others. He actually was winning the first until he got tagged

There is this BIG ASS hole .like a CHASM when you say Bradley gave Pac a boxing lesson inless he was teaching Pac where exactly to land that straight left to his face all night. Yes he boxed better in the back half of the fight and indeed won the ninth but GENEROUSLY I only gave him the 2nd and 11th rounds otherwise Bradley's big shortcomings are lack of power and lack of accuracy he may land but will never hit the target squarely. GTFOH and welcome back bro

I gave Bradley 1, 2, 9, 10, 11, 12. When I go back and watch it again, I'll probably wind up giving Bradley the 3rd round also. The judges got it right, 115-113 either way is fair. This wasn't a robbery.

    Thanks, glad to be back.

We must not have been watching the same fight. In the fight *I* saw, Pacquiao was the aggressor but his aggression wasn't effective. I saw Pacquiao swinging at AIR for most of the night. OTOH, Bradley was touching Pacquiao - at range and on the inside.

    Go back, rewatch the fight and while your watching it ask yourself these questions;

Does Pacquiao ever hit Bradley with a jab?
Does Pacquiao ever hit Bradley with a right hook?
Does Pacquiao ever hit Bradley with an uppercut?
Does Pacquiao ever hit Bradley with a body shot?

From what I saw, those punches were largley missing from Pacquiao's arsenal Saturday night. It was mostly straight left hands coming from Pacquiao ALL night and that punch was NOT landing consistently...

I read a lot of boxing blogs. I haven't seen one person say Bradley won. Not one newspaper had him win. Merchant had it a shutout till round 11. Steward said Pac won. Are you saying that you judge fights better than these experts? Arum was behind this, whether he is asking for an investigation or not. He knows he will never promote a fight with PBF and thus had to set up the rematch to a fight they already had posters for. For the life of me I can never understand how boxing lets one promoter promote the two boxers in a fight. If there is a rematch I bet Manny takes the fight more seriously and it will probably end in a TKO. By the way, how is Olympic boxing scored now? Live punchstat, no? Is that inaccurate too?

    1. Yes but he didn't jab a lot
    2. Yes
    3 Rare but yes
    4. Yes.
Bradley on the other and didn't land a whole hell of a lot
Maybe 75% of Pacs landed shots were straight lefts and left hooks Bradley was there for that all night

Thomas Hauser, Bart Barry, and Brian Kenny all scored the fight for Bradley.

Olympic/Amateur boxing uses a completely different scoring system than does Professional Boxing. That said, both scoring systems are subjective.

Bradley beats Pacquiao if they ever fight again so there won't be a rematch. Bank on it.

    1. Pacquiao doesn't have a jab and I would challenge you to point to any round in the fight where Pacquiao uses it effectively.
    2. I saw Pacquiao land all of two or three right hooks during the entire fight. That punch was a non-factor.
    3. I don't recall Pacquiao landing a single uppercut during the entire fight. This punch was also a non-factor.
    4. Again, I didn't see any body punching from Pacquiao. None. Maybe you could point out a round in the fight where Pacquaio goes to Bradleys body? All I saw was Pacquiao head hunting with the straight left.

To address your last point, if Pacquiao was so sucessful landing the straight left, why did he not seriously hurt Bradley? Why was Bradley not all swollen and beaten up by the end of the fight like previous Pacquaio opponents? Look @ the Cotto and Margarito fights. Both of those guys made it to the 12th round with Pacquiao and both of their faces were bloody masks when the fight ended. Why was that not the case with Bradley if Pacquiao were so sucessful landing the straight left?

Bradly has a decent beard. Holt put him on his ass in round one and couldn't finish him. Pacquio staggered Bradley more than once but Bradley lasted. Don't confuse me saying Bradley lost by a wide margin with me saying he is a bum, he is not. When he got staggered against Pac he did something I don't see boxers do which is lower his center of gravity to retain his balance AND move his head and this kept him from being in and huge trouble. Pac on the other hand was not crisp either but scoring round by round I had it 9-3 Pac and I was generous giving round 2

Ask yourself this question; If it's so clear that Pacquiao won the fight and the decision was a robbery, why then will there be no immediate rematch?

Who said there won't be. I saw a poster for it already. Arum is going thru the motions acting like he cares about the decision. Bottom line is he will probably never promote a Floyd fight and thus had to insure another payday. It's amazing how Arum ddoesn't get the bad rap King did.

Bob Arum says there will be no immediate rematch. He promotes both fighters - so - if he says there will be no immediate rematch then there will be no immediate rematch.

Of course Arum's decision has nothing to do with the alleged robbery that took place the other night. If Arum thought Pacquiao could win in a rematch then he'd already have the contracts signed. Face the reality, Pacquiao is a fraud and a protected fighter. Lonesome Bob knows that Pacquiao *loses* the rematch - and his marketability will then go to shit. This is the same reason why the Mayweather fight hasn't happened. Arum has been playing these same shell games for years.

Do you remember the first Oscar de la Hoya / Sugar Shane Mosley fight? At that time, de la Hoya was Arum's money fighter like Pacquiao is now. Shane was an unknown quantity as is Bradley. Oscar lost a close fight to Shane in their first contest and there was no immediate rematch - just like there will be no immediate rematch between Pacquiao and Bradley.

They'll probably go dig up some corpse or raid a senior citizens home for Pacquiao's next opponent.

Don't let yourself be swayed by the HBO commentators' blatant bias.

...And he was. Nobody outside of the hardcore boxing audience knew who Shane Mosley was before the first de la Hoya fight. The same is true of Tim Bradley.

Comepletely different.......Mosely was a regular on HBO bradley wallowed in obscurity on SHO and had only one fight on HBO if I am not mistaken. Laypeople who are fans of boxing watch HBO more than SHO.

How many PPV cards had Mosley headlined before the first de la Hoya fight?

definitely not the measure of notoriety. You don't get a PPV unless you have SOME fame attached to your name. Non PPV events on HBO are the path for non headliners to gain notoriety and that was Shane.
